Absolutely delicious Italian food! Recommend for a lovely date night or for a family night out - regardless the customer service is amazing. We ordered a variety of items off the menu and everything was delicious. Ended the night with a complimentary apple vodka drink on top do the wonderful wine selection - wonderful night!

I am glad to had been in that restaurant. They were so nice to me when I ask if they offer a dessert for people who celebrate birthdays, they say of course and it is for free! They gave a big plate with a small dessert of your choice with a candle and they write " Happy Birthday" such a great touch! And for free!
Food was delicious, right size portions, everything fresh and good cooked.
If you have around Chelsea don't doubt to go.

Found this gem on a nice walk while visiting NYC and Chelsea one afternoon. Many restaurants have closed or are open for take out only, but Chelsea Ristorante Trattoria had indoor and outdoor dining. The food is excellent, and freshly prepared using top shelf ingredients. The menu offers a variety of appetizers, salads, soups, pizzas, pastas and entrées. The restaurant interior is clean and warm and welcoming. Indoor seating, but we chose to sit outside in the private and heated enclosure. Just us in our own space. Waitstaffs were very attentive and were fully masked and practiced social distancing. And the ladies room was modern and spotless. You could tell the owner made sure we enjoyed our time spent there and that we felt safe dining there. Will definitely return hopefully when we are through this pandemic.

Absolutely an amazing restaurant! Great food and service, friendly atmosphere, relaxing decor. Staff is knowledgeable about menu, wine list. They will go out of their way to make your visit special.

Just a wonderful neighborhood authentic New York experience

I've been here twice; the food is excellent, particularly the pizza and the dessert. The crust is a perfect thickness. It's a bit pricey, and the outdoor dining is quite cold (they have heaters but they're inadequate). Still, a good experience and I expect to eat here semi regularly.

We had a great lunch here yesterday! Even though it was about 32 degrees outside, we were very cozy in the curtained, heated outside area they have.
The food was delicious and the coffee was fabulous. Service was stellar. The bathroom was sparkling clean.
I'm definitely going back!

Do not recommend - management is crazy and rude.

Made a reservation on OpenTable a week in advance. Received a voice mail message from the restaurant the day of the reservation saying I needed to pay $200 to actually reserve a table or they would cancel my reservation, despite no mention of a deposit on OpenTable.
Called them back and was told I had until 4pm that day to pay. Called them back again prior to their deadline and was told the table was no longer available. Was yelled at for being too slow to call back and for not answering my phone sooner, despite having reserved a table online and calling before the self-imposed deadline.

Food was delicious and we enjoyed sitting in the outdoor enclosure due to Covid restrictions. Added to list of favorites.

I had a beautiful dinner here with my family and friends a few weeks back. For starters I went with the Caprese salad, it tasted fresh and how authentic Italian mozzarella should taste. For my main course I had the Osso Bucco special and my god I can not stop thinking about it. The meat was very tender and perfectly seasoned. On top of the good food, our waiter Donny was able to provide michelin-star service to our table. I will definitely be coming back again! I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for good authentic Italian food in the city

Go to restaurant for over 30 years. Quality food, impeccable service, and now excellent outdoor settings. I'd eat here every night if I could.

Lunch was good not great. However being from out of town and not getting an itemized copy of receipt ended up double tipping. That is not cool. Just be aware.
