The service was top-notch! The food was excellent! So much so that I forgot to take photos!

Great service, atmosphere, and drinks. Also, possibly the best Filet Mignon in NYC; it shouldn’t be a special, it should be on the menu permanently!

The food is pretty amazing here and the service is always A1. Great place for Sunday brunch with friends.

A great neighborhood staple focused on casual French cuisine. In a time where every restaurant seems to be raising prices, chez moi offers a great value and a variety of great French staples in a relaxed atmosphere.

Most of their main dishes are really solid - the lamb, salmon, duck, and chicken are all really recommended.

Come for: a relaxed spot with good food on a weekday

Favorites: lamb couscous, mussels, croquettes

Watch out: can be a bit drafty if you're by the door and it's winter

I really wanted to like this place, just want to start by saying the escargots appetizer is delicious. The service was slow.where I sat was near the kitchen, the waiter kept bumping my elbow.table are too small. My wine glass was filthy. Definitely won’t go back.

My fiancé and I went to Chez Moi for my Birthday dinner. He had the fish special and I had the mussels. The mussels were huge and so clean! They tasted so fresh! We also tried the frog legs and I was pleasantly surprised. Of course we had the escargot and it was delicious.

Chez Moi was 'eh. Albeit a packed dining room, I still think Chez Moi is 'eh. The food was ok, nothing to brag about.

Again, this review is one person's opinion. To that end, I am not saying don't go, but just know I wasn't impressed.

Pretty good selection of menu items and even had a few vegetarian options, server was attentive, food was good. Space is a little small so be prepared to wait at busy times.

Excellent food but noisy particularly when full. Tables on top of each other. You need to shout to be heard across the table.

Nice wine selection. Friendly server. Fast service. Steak Tartare was delicious and came with crispy small French toasts. Cozy and romantic ambiance. Excellent.

50 mins waiting for a burger and eggs Benedict. Only came out when we asked! Service was not too great either. Was disappointed.

The attitude I’m getting from these staff at the restaurant. It’s terrible. My boyfriend was treated so badly when he went, the bartender was being extremely rude. They got into a fight and the owner came out to apologize. This time I tried to make a reservation for a large party, the person on the phone literally don’t know anything about the restaurant he works at. At last minute he’s telling me a party over 9 people can only do prix fixe menu. So I asked him what’s on the prix fixe menu, he said I don’t know and have to figure it out later. And I said what about the pricing, he doesn’t know either. And he said he can’t send me the information until 4/5 hours later. So I asked for the manager, he gave me a condescending response well you are speaking to him. So I just lost it, how are you a manager working at a restaurant telling people they have to order prix fixe and not even know anything about it? Really should be more on top of your job.

I had the steak tartare and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the tuna tartare and he enjoyed it. This is a great place to go for good food.

The food was delicious. I had the goat cheese and beet salad with the cauliflower gratin. Both were tasty. The service was weird all night. I assumed that it was because she was busy, but I watched other tables get drinks and dessert while we were left alone until we flagged her down. The food is pricey. I don't mind paying more for a good meal, but the service has to match.
