Chez Oskar, Brooklyn NY

I’ve been coming here for the past few months and love every minute I can spend here. The staff, food/drinks and ambience are all top notch and the menu is a great value for a dine-in experience. On top of the traditional French eats, the ownership seems to take pride in the details of the music playlist and the beauty of the space—they are always making little changes which shows an excellent attention to detail.

The staff are an excellent team—those who know French service know that it can be difficult to hunt down your server for various reasons. This is not the case at Chez Oskar. If your primary server isn’t available to get you the ketchup or put in a drink, any of the other staff are happy to help. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of them.

The waiter was incredibly rude to a lady at the table next to us who had to wait forever for her change. We were not even served. So we left. The end.

I like this restaurant a lot. It’s really good food and you can always walk in and get a table no reservations required. They have an extensive wine list with good selections which I love. Beautiful outdoor seating and great for happy hour as well. A neighborhood favorite! I just wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu.

One of the best outdoor dining area in my neighborhood of bedstuy. From the stream to the mussel’s everything is fantastic! The one thing I miss is their great cocktails but I understand why they’ve turned to the pre-mixed options during quarantine! Come visit Chez you won’t be disappointed!

Stake was dry. Mussels was not that good.

The menu never fails. I never get the same thing when I visit but I always leave satisfied each time. On top of that I absolutely love the decor and the artwork on the walls: they make for a nice setting.

This is the most pathetic salad I’ve received in life. Do yourself a favor, don’t order from here, utterly ridiculous considering how expensive they are. Incredibly irritated with this presentation, was a loyal customer but not anymore. Ridiculous.

Chez Oskar has been a favorite of mine for a while. I love the mussels and they have the absolute best fries. Great outdoor seating and menu options

Get the FISH & CHIPS or the Lamb Burger! I promise you will be so satisfied. I love their drinks especially the Bellini. The staff is friendly & get right down to business no pushy service they give you what you need.

Waited for waitress around 20 minutes to make an order. It was not many customers. When I asked if it's okay to wait 20 minutes, waitress said "yes it's ok". Waited 10 minutes more and nobody never came

Very chill neighborhood spot! Service is always amazing, the staff is so friendly. Food is on point. & I’m obsessed with the Key lime pie dessert. Obsessed:)

Loved it! The bellini had a cute peach iced rose and it was delicious. Service and food were awesome. Will definitely come back.:)

My family and I have been coming here since they first opened and always had an amazing experience with great food. The owner is amazing. They do a beautiful job with the display especially the outdoor display. Definitely stop by to check it out. Food and drinks are good. And the plus, the ambience is amazing!

The drinks are chic and tasty, the appetizers are delicious, and the entrees were perfect. Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had, the fish had the perfect fried crunchy outside with fish that somehow melted in my mouth

My bread was really hard.
The salmon was smaller than I expected.
The grilled octopus was ok.
Presentation not so ok for the price of the salad

Went there for my wife's birthday. Had a lovely dining experience, start to finish. Glad they made it thru the shutdown and look forward to going back again.
