I have been using Chic Cleaners & Tailoring for several years, after testing out a few different tailors in Astoria. I trust them with all of my dry cleaning, including delicate vintage pieces. They are always realistic about what is possible, and they regularly exceed my expectations. I recently had a dress tailored for a special occasion, and they were miracle workers in making the garment work for me. They also did an excellent job reworking detailed beading on the hem of the garment. This is just one of my many items they have done perfect alterations on. The prices are also so reasonable for the high quality of the work. They have truly perfected their craft! I would highly recommend this business!

Went here for the first time to hem my impromptu wedding dress and they did an incredible job. The dress was full of intricate beading and they made it look like it was never altered and had it done very quickly! Super friendly too! I’ll 100% be coming back for anything I need in the future.

This is my favorite dry-cleaning spot that I've tried in Astoria- affordable, high-quality, friendly and efficient service. They do a great job with alterations, too. Very well run shop, owners are lovely people. Highly recommend.

I went to this place to dry clean a few of my winter jackets due to their good reviews. They managed to damage one of my jacket snaps.

Don’t come here if you expect a quality job. You’ve been warned.

Used them for a few months, was ok at best, most of my clothes came back with the same stains they went in with. The problem came when I lost a few expensive pieces of clothing. When I went to the store location to inform them they were very defensive and would not budge on their stance of "we gave you all your clothes". I really would not mind if it was not so obviously name brand stuff that was taken and all my other clothes were there. At ends, I believe this is not a very honest business unfortunately and would not trust them with your property.

I really needed a dress tailored last minute for a wedding and Chic’s came through. They were so kind and willing to help me which now a days is hard to come by. Thank you for saving the day!

Tailoring is excellent - I travel 45 minutes one-way just get things tailored because I know they'll do a great job.

Dry cleaning is standard, I've always been satisfied.

DO NOT GO HERE. I would give them negative stars if that were possible. My problem was with tailoring but I'm sure you will receive terrible customer service if you have any other type of problem. I took my wedding dress here to be taken in. My bad for not taking it to a tailor that specializing in wedding dresses I guess. The tailor made a V cut in the back of my dress that wasn't there previously, so now the back of my WEDDING DRESS is a different cut than the dress i bought and I have to go buy a different undergarments for my wedding. When I complained to the owner, I was told about how hard the tailor worked on the dress and that her job was to make it fit nothing else. I explained that it was no longer the same cut, and I asked for a 50% refund to help cover the cost of the new undergarments. The owner continued to give me excuses even after I showed her pictures of how the dress used to look. She handed me $10 and said she would buy me a coffee and when I told her that wasn't acceptable she said that she would "pray for me. " I understand that mistakes are made, but the way a business handles them shows a lot about the respect they have for their customers. This business does not respect you or your clothing and you should not trust them with anything that you care about.
