Chic Happens Nails, W Old Country Rd

I’ve gone to Chic Happens for about 2.5 years now. Lynn is my girl! I get powder gel manicures every 3 weeks. She does my nails impeccably every time. I am super picky about the shape of my nails, and I don’t go to anyone else because she gets my shape right every single time.

I am so disappointed with my nails. It has been less than a week (10/24) most have my nails have chipped. I paid for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. My nails are all very brittle after the service as well. I requested a color change during the service and the tech seemed very annoyed as well to the point where I felt uncomfortable asking or requesting anything else. Not to mention, the tech cut my toe nails extremely short without even consulting me about the length. This place was recommended to me by a good friend who had a better experience but this was probably one of the worst nail experiences for me personally.

This my nails at 3 weeks. I need to get them done again. Just wanted to show how long lasting they are. They do well.

I absolutely LOVE this salon! And I LOVE LYNN even more! She can execute anything your heart desires! Sadly I moved but still make the 2 hour drive cause she’s just that AMAZING Her shaping is Killer! See her!

When I sat down at Lynn's station, I could feel the grit from the previous gel manicure, which meant it wasn't cleaned. She rushed me through my manicure (prob because it's much cheaper than the gel/powder type), was rough with the hand massage, which i usually love, but my knuckles were actually cracking during that massage.
She was a bit rude when i said the polish was settling into the ridges of my nail and looked streaky, and rudely asked if i wanted another coat, which i accepted, and left polish around 3 nails. Not happy with this appt.

Kelly and the Gentleman that works here are great. I’ve been to a ton of nail salons and this has been my staple. Everyone is kind and my nails come out great.

I’ve gotten UV Gel nails and Gel Pedicures. The staff does a fabulous job.

Their massages are also great. After your nail job, they’ll give you a 1 min massage. Love it

Just had my nails do by Kelly she always do a beautiful job. Everyone does a great job on nails. Place is clean and everyone is so friendly.

The nail tech was nice but i didn’t like the outcome and i paid 70 the nails look like they have a lot of layers of powder, the surroundings of my nails have some nail polish on them

Only went here bc my place didn't have appointments but all I can say is I dont recommend this place at all. The girl who did my nails was so sloppy. No effort she barley filed my nails she barley cut my cuticuls It just doesn't even feel like i got a pedicure bc of how sloppy it was and on top of that they're not even friendly. Maybe i'm just used to better service but this just felt like I gave away my money for free.

Lynn did my nails and she treated me so poorly. She only did one coat of polish on my toes & for the pedicure and manicure she rushed.
She was really rough and her vibe was unpleasant.
This is my first and last time going there.

The best Nail salon in the island. Very polite staff. They have patients to help you with colors and design.

I’m ecstatic about this nail salon. There’s nothing they can’t do. Definitely the best around. 100% satisfied.
