ChikaLicious Dessert Bar reviews
15This place is not just for the ones with sweet tooth, this is an experience you won't forget. 3 courses of dessert, all prepared with immaculate attention, taste combination, love and care. Menu changes every week. There are to go options as well, but I suggest you take a seat, and experience the ritual. One to be remembered
What a nice vibe Chika has. We had a nice chat, and they prepare everything in front of you when you sit at the bar.
We had the menu option for $25, -
You get a starter, then pick one of the options in the menu.
My friend got the caramel panna cotta with pineapple sorbet.
I got the gooseberry with crème fraiche on crispy kataifi.
And then the last one is petit fours.

A must try spot!
Are you a sweets connoisseur? This is your kind of place. The portions are small and expensive but the quality of ingredients and culinary preparation is second to none.
Pretty presentation, but tiny portions and the flavors are very subdued and blend together. Expensive for what it is.
Desserts time!
Highlights of the menu:
1. Banana pie cream puff
This place is very renown for its desserts that I had a chance to try. And it’s actually goood! The banana flavor in the soft cold cream with the lightly crunchy choux is a bomb! The place offers seats for afternoon tea with a set menu of pastries and teas. This is a small cute store that suitable to hang on a chill day.
I went to Chikalicious just for the sweet so I had it to go. Seating is complimentary with tea sets, otherwise there is a small charge for seating. This can be a little downturn as some guests want to sit down for pastries and drink not tea time. Tea sets in here is a little high priced, I would expect the good quality on the next time I visit the store.
This is beyond perfection! I had the warm chocolate tart with the pink pepper corn ice cream. DELIGHTFULLY DELICIOUS! Also, I tried the Róse Sparkling drink with a blood orange ice cube. I throughly enjoyed everything! It’s a great spot with a lovely vibe. The Doughyaki is a must try. ️
I visited ChikaLicious Dessert Dessert Bar on Sunday night with my daughter after having dinner around the corner at Panna II. We both wanted a little something sweet before heading back to our hotel. They were closing in about 15 minutes and said they had time to serve us. On the menu the prices were understood to be $11.00 so we ordered 2 desserts. When we got the bill the total was $55.for two desserts (about $67. With tip). I don’t care what the price is, as long as it is fair, but getting ripped off is a problem. The desserts were lacking in every was from bland to blander. I understand that ingredient costs are high. With that being said they should do their best to make something delicious than. I speak from having won baking championships in the past and personally do not recommend ChikaLicious.
We drove for three hours here cuz it says it opens till 10pm. However, when we arrived around 6: 15 they’ve already been closed. Please update your hours so that others won’t have the same terrible experience as ours!
Deadass the best biscuit I've ever had! Very expensive for one cookie, but I'd say: worth the price.
I did enjoy the dessert I had here. Tasted great but $25 plus the cost of drink for the tiny dessert I got may not be enough. I can see myself coming here only on a blue moon. The bakers were nice and served us our desserts. I just can’t say I’d be a repeat customer.
Chef Chika and her friendly staff have consistently served the community with great quality of dessert menus and service at this location for years. The line is always there because regulars are always going back.
My magic place when back in NY and really want to have a proper dessert out with awesome pairing!
This special desert bar is one of my favorite date places. Intimate space with very special hand made deserts and wine pairings. Tea and specialty drinks served and hosted by professional friendly people. Had a great time here and the atmosphere and effort put forward by the team here is what we all need and appreciate. Clean and covid compliant.
Do not be fooled by the negative reviews. The feature here is the Creme Brûlée Donut. Everything else is just a delicious cherry on top, but come for the warm, sweet and savory eggy creme brûlée donut and you won’t be disappointed. This is our go to spot when we are in Manhattan. Can’t leave without one.
Also, have had the Mille cake, chocolate chip cookie, and banana creme puff (which was outstanding) but again, this is about one thing and one thing only: the donut.
Finally, the folks who work here are the best and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Get their donuts and tell all your friends.
