We were with family here. And we were impressed with taste food and polite service. We liked this place.

This was quite literally the worst meal my wife and I have ever eaten. The restaurant was mostly empty yet it still took 20min for the waiter to even bring us water or ask us for our order. The sushi and sashimi was very poor quality. I rarely give a bad review but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a local restaurant. And the manager at the time was equally rude to myself as well as the delivery people coming in for order pick ups.

They refuse to make simple substitution requests for allergies- literally switching a more expensive fish for a lesser expensive fish. It would save them money. And they’re ridiculously rude about it. Honestly, first sushi place I’ve ever been to that can’t accommodate such a simple request. No thanks.

I come here often to get my sushi fix. They have a lot of diverse options and I would never get bored of it. The staff is very attentive

My food came completely different from how I ordered. They messed up everything I requested. I asked for steamed it was deep fried. I asked for sauce on the side it was on the food. And too much oil although I asked for less oil. I usually order from chekurin on avenZ and it prepared perfectly and tastes great and much better quality. This location on 86th Street food tastes much lower quality and not as good. Will never order from this location again.

Wow the best japanese food in the area! Bento box was so filling, it comes with salad and tempura which other restaurants don’t! Tempura was freshly fried and salad was fresh as well. Enjoyed my meal a lot and the waiter was very friendly and attentive

Looks like things going south in this place. The taste of food was disgusting.two weeks before it was perfect.conclusion is probably a new "chef"
I came home and had allergy rush. Very rare when i had it before.

The service was quick but they don't listen what you ask and make mistakes and become angry at you.

These days best in Brooklyn among Japanese restaurants. Although interior desire to be improved)

The sushi tasted great. The Dancing Eel was my favorite. One issue was that the chopsticks weren't that good quality, but otherwise it was lovely.

Love this place. I’ve only gotten their bento boxes, my favorite is probably the salmon. Tasty and good portions. What I LOVE is that they give salad and shrimp+sweet potato tempura with my bento box (miso soup as well but every place does that). This is what sets this place apart!

Fresh food, awesome presentation. The staff was very nice and attentive. I think the prices are not overly expensive, especially for the area. It was a pleasure. I hope they continue to provide the same quality years down the line.
