Taco Restaurant Chilo's reviews
11Miniature tacos. Seriously so small and so expensive these people should be ashamed. Nothing special about the taste. Bad attitude and vibes on top of it.
Some of THE BEST tacos, a great range of sauces, and delicious drinks. A great spot to stop by before a C’mon Everybody event, or to grab food with friends!
The bar was awesome, but the food was not good. As someone from California, I was very underwhelmed. The food was already pricey for Mexican, definitely too pricey for the quality. I ordered a beef torta which was very soggy and lacked any flavor, beef was dry too. Frankly, there’s a place down the street called Marta’s that is much better if you’re looking for Mexican Food.
The chicken tacos were AMAZING, and the service was super quick and efficient. I will definitely be back.
Drinks are great, tacos slightly less so but still serviceable. Extra points for having an cool/ interesting space to get both drinks and tacos. Best experienced in non frigid climates.
Overpriced fish tacos at $7.50 each. Fish portion was very small and rolled up in one piece of batter and fried until burnt black. I had to peel away the black burnt batter in order to eat it. Lots of mosquitos at the outdoor tables near the back wall. We each got about 5 mosquito bites. On the way out I saw the lady who cleans the table spray bug spray on herself. They should post a sign or tell the customers about the mosquitos.
This place used to be great.years ago. Mid pandemic their attitude shifted from ok to rotten. I feel like I got yelled at every time I went in. I began to come less frequently, however now that they brag that they donate to planned parenthood, I will never give them another dime.
Great Tacos in Brooklyn!
AL Pastor Tacos and Brisket Tacos! Can't go wrong here.
Nice sitdown outdoor and indoor setting the tacos are amazing kinda of pricey but pretty good.authentic Mexican food
$33 for 3 delicious tacos (prepped in a courtyard in the back) and 2 rounds of tequila and Tecate. Woo! And the bartender was very nice/professional and has seen 9 inch nails 9 times. What more could you want! Reasonable tacos, fun bar vibe. Good stuff
I used to like going to this bar until the bartender screamed at me and kicked me out of the bar for grabbing the salt to take a shot, accusing me of “trying to steal the salt” which was not the case at ALL. Not sure if he was drunk or just had a bad day. Very disappointed to have this experience when I truly appreciated this place.
