China Wok Chinese Restaurant reviews
12We really enjoyed the food! It was a large order, and the added a free Crab Rangoon! Sweet! Yummy Fried rice bonus!
It was Valentines day, 2023.
We expected most people to be at home, or sitting in a nice, dimly lit restaurant. However, the seating area of this place was packed! All the tables and chairs were stacked away (probably in anticipation of the crowd) to make room for people waiting for their pick-up order, since they don't offer delivery.
Behind the counter you could see at least 5 people working diligently and seamlessly around eachother, moving from one station to the next so fluidly. It was almost entrancing to watch. They called orders out by phone numbers, not names, which caught some people off guard, including myself.
Overall, it was an unexpectedly good visit, especially with having a room full of people watching them work. Our order was perfect. The food was good, the young woman behind the counter was efficient (as well as everyone preparing the food) and we will definitely go back!
While we love them here are China Wok. Lately, the prices have gone wayyyyy up and the food quality and taste has gone down. It's a bit disappointing. The staff has always been so friendly and we loved to support them but even the the food is not as good as it was. We understand that everything has inflated, especially since covid, but to be a hometown favorite and lose your authentic self in the inflation is sad. We miss the flavors and food they used to serve on a regular basis with a smile and a wave!?
First time at this place. Really enjoyed the vegetable soup and shrimp mei fun. Generous portions. Good prices. Quick and friendly service. Will be back again!
The only spot I order chinese food from. Convenient and straightforward and it's right next door to the liquor store and family dollar.
I ordered three of the same dishes and they were all plain and the chicken wasn’t cooked enough. Very disappointed especially for the amount of money I spent. Moved to the area and need a new Chinese spot unfortunately this will not be it. Won’t be going there again.
The food wasn't great, but it wasn't awful either. If you are hungry and need to fill up you can do that here. The sweet and sour chicken was pretty good. Lyn was a very attentive and friendly server.
This is our current go to for Chinese food. Partly due to location, but also because of the food. The egg rolls are good, not the best I've had, but better than other places. Their beef is generally tender and tasty, and their lo mein is good too. The fried rice is passable, would be better with more stuff besides the rice. Online ordering is easy and quick.
Best Chinese food around. Had the sesame chicken. Very good. Very fresh. Will be back for more!
First time dining here! Friendly owners — the soups and lo mien are delicious, definitely give this place your next option for Chinese take out!
I've always like this restaurant. This time my order was terrible. Over cooked sesame chicken and the wonton soup tasted off. Maybe they've got a new cook.
Everything we got was so good! Great family, great service and good prices for the portions they give
