Chipotle Mexican Grill, New York NY

I go here because I know what I like but the customer service here is definitely lacking. I greeted my server & the tiny man with the unkept ponytail & no hair net rolled his eyes & nodded at the front door. I turned around and looked at my cousin to see if perhaps he assumed it was her talking to him yet she was as shocked as me. She told me I shouldn’t buy anything from there but I’m 35 weeks pregnant & craving so it wouldn’t have mattered what he did but leaving I definitely felt like I didn’t deserve that type of treatment when I’m spending my $ on something I like to eat. I also wanted to order a quesadilla but that’s the second time they’ve turned me down saying that’s for online orders only. Hate that rule for anyone. When I asked he responded still with no eye contact it was only for online orders so I just didn’t say anything else. He then asked if I heard him & repeated himself but by this time I was so turned off I just continued with my burrito order. Once at the register to pay I asked the lady for a bowl & he threw my bowl down the counter to the cashier she had to shout for a lid & of course he threw that as well. After paying almost $18 I regretted even going there & I wish I’d gotten shake shack like we were supposed to in the first place. My food is still in the bag untouched hours later the whole experience really put a bad taste in my mouth & I don’t think I’ll be returning again.

The cashier yelled at me, giving me attitude and telling me to shut up. She also refused to give me my receipt.

-The bowl quantity is quite small for how much you’re paying.
-The drinking machine is out of service.

As someone who was looking guests to eating here, this is the lousiest Chipotle I've ever been to hands down: (Don't come here! Find another location! They neither wanna greet you or feed you. I couldnt believe the size of the portions and the sour cream was runny. My Vegetarian with Sofritas meal came up to $18, I was done! This staff needs to quit their jobs.they're miserable!

On of the servers was very disrespectful and rude when I requested information due to they were only taking online orders in store. In addition she displayed unsanitary conduct cleaning left over food on the counters

Came here today April 3rd 2023 @ 7: 15pm and ordered WHAT IS CALLED ON THE MENU “BURRITO BOWL” (like I always have) and the young lady with the fake eye lashes half on began to press a burrito and as I told her I said Burrito Bowl she grabbed a bowl with a NASTY attitude and rolling her eyes and exclaimed “Then a why’d You Say Burrito” with an attitude.
I stepped out I have no acceptance of someone who is miserable working handling food with poor customer service as if I was wrong when on the menu it is clearly called a BURRITO BOWL
The manager at this location has to do better and the girl with the broken lashes handling my food if you’re not happy don’t take it out on your clients take a day off or get a new job that doesn’t involve speaking to people.

Worst chipotle I’ve ever had. Also they don’t let you sit in the store even after purchasing….

I decided a while back not to order from this location but figured it’s been a few years so I gave it another try. The white rice was not fully cooked. I couldn’t finish the bowl. Never again.

Professional, obliging, and courteous. Due to the huge volume of sales and the ongoing turnover, the food is always very fresh. The bathroom is maintained spotless. Peaceful surroundings prevail.

Today, Feb 20th, my husband and I were looking forward to getting Chipotle. However we were never addressed even though there were multiple team members infront of us and we were the only customers in the chain. So, fed up, we decided to go to Just Salad.

To go into more detail about the ridiculously rude experience I'll explain it.

My husband and I entered the 125th Harlem Chipotle at around 8pm. We were the only customers there. We approached the counter to place an order but there were 5 to 6 employees talking to each other. One of them was a particularly rude and loud woman who was wearing an Airpod.

My husband and I didn't say anything because we didn't want to be rude and interrupt the conversation the employees were having. So, we just stood there waiting until they finished.

NEVER did any of the employees say anything to us nor direction their attention. It was incredibly rude because the Airpod lady got something that was in front of us and didn't even look our way.

We were standing there for many minutes. We could not believe the treatment we were getting so we left and went to a better establishment, Just Salad.

On a side note, I took this experience to be beyond rude because I have visited this particular Chipotle before and have been very nice and understanding to the employees when there have been other rude customers.

So to have a great, patient, and understanding customer be treated the way my husband and I were, is extremely unacceptable.

It's least to say that we won't be going to any Chipotle anywhere ever again.

Good job at hiring 5 incompetent employees. That does not include the security guard.

This chipotle is the worst with pick up orders NEVER GET PICK UP FROM HERE! It’s seem like whom ever is doing the orders for pick doesn’t care to follow instructions

A bit hood with security guard (who was very kind to me) standing next to entrance/exit but I guess in this location it's necessary. The server and cashier were professionals but there was no plastic forks, spoons, hot sauces or napkins available to grab. They gave me a few napkins with order but I like extra napkins if needed and other locations have these items in abundance.this location is nothing to write home about but it's good for a quick meal before or after shopping in the area. Oh and they had no hard shells! I was scandalized by this!

I'd love to be able to review the food. However, my visit was never able to get to that point. My wife and I entered a little past 8 pm (they close at 10 pm). There were about 6 workers behind the counter and 1 security guard in the front. As we approached the counter, none of the workers paid any attention to us. They were making their own burritos and bowls and were chatting and laughing with each other. My wife and I stood there for several minutes with the employees, right in front of us, not even making eye contact. They didn't say they were closing early or that they were busy. They said nothing and did nothing other than continue not working. We left and went next door to Just Salad. I get people not caring about their minimum wage job, but not even providing basic human decency is unacceptable. I strongly encourage everyone to go next door to Just Salad - cheaper prices and better value.

We paid so much ($75) for this order to be delivered via GrubHub. Chipotle REALLY screwed up our order. My Burrito was just rice, salsa and lettuce. They left out the meat, beans and sour cream. They did NOT include our guacamole & chips. They did not include the beans in our taco bowl.
Everything was ice-COLD upon arrival.
Asking them to make it right is useless: they just say "contact Grub Hub". Grub Hub says "Contact Chipolte". I wonder if there are any adults working there.
