Chipotle Mexican Grill, Amherst NY

I gave them 2 star because the service, product, and cleanliness of the store are either satisfactory or really bad. And because I can only give them one review, I guess I have to give them an average.

Statistically speaking out of the last say 10 times I’ve gone here, from memory only once was it bad, so that’s a 9/10 - All the employees are always very nice and the food is well made at this location specifically.

Though the reason they get 4 stars is man if it’s a day when they don’t have in person ordering and are only doing online ordering. I would just turn around because it’s a lot more risky for it to be less accurate or less good tasting as they are already short staffed on those days as is. So I think 4 stars is fair, as I’ve had more good than bad.

Found hair in my bowl not once but twice. Ordered on the app the second time, I didn’t look at the address and didn’t realize I ordered at this location! Short ish blonde hair. So gross

Went in to order and the employees were super friendly and approaching! I loved the portion size and turned it into two meals which was great. Always ask for extra lettuce so every bite feels so refreshing. This is my second time trying chipotle and I would definitely get it again:)

I dined in today and found the place very much in need of cleaning. The floor needed to be swept, the trash was over flowing and the area that had the soda dispenser, napkins, straws, utensils etc was a mess. I won’t be going back

This is a joke. I ordered a bowl with extra chicken $17 bowl and was left with a bowl of chicken. NOTHING ELSE.

Unreal.

The female worker with the light curly hair is extremely rude. I showed up after hours to pickup a doordash order since I drive for doordash sometimes. Before I even get show she immediately says stores closed. I try to briefly explain that I was a driver picking up an order that was confirmed by THIS chipotle. But before I even got my second word out, I was met with a door shut in my face. I see multiple reviews talking about bad food quality, lateness, and overall negativity. Maybe it starts with the staff.

Food takes forever! Still waiting on my order 30 min after you say it will be ready. Find another Chipotle, this one needs to retrain!

On Jan 29, at 4: 59 Pm I experienced racism from The store manger at the Amherst location. The order was not taken accurately. The staff attempted to charge me over $20 for one bowl. They refused and would not allow the order to be corrected unless I waited in line AGAIN, which I did. It took 24 mins to reorder my order. (Based on receipts). Staff was extremely upset that I waited in line to get my correct order filled. Store manager a young black male asked me to leave the restaurant or else he would call the police. I had done nothing wrong, except pointed out there air in my order.

Online orders take forever to come out! Plan for it to be ready 20-30 minutes later than the promised time. I also witnessed the lady at the register act very rude to other customers.

Compared to all the chipotles I’ve been to in the area, this one is not so bad. I would recommend coming to get it fresh rather than ordering online since I’ve had my order snatched before from this location. The customers are always high energy and attentive, they do move the lines pretty fast & the food is usually always very juicy and tasty the times I go. The new Al pastor chicken is so good, a lot of flavors and juice!
I would definitely go to this chipotle over the new one on the Blvd. By delta sonic.

So being from out-of-town I saw some of the negative reviews but was under time constraints and I decided to take a shot that they may be wrong…well, they were not…I got there and stood on line, when my turn to order came the counter-person asked me if I heard the announcement. Not only did I not hear it but I would not be able to with all of the alternate noise going on on both sides of the counter…. They had run out of all meats for the burritos and bowls…. This was at 7: 30pm on Saturday night…how does this happen? ! And should it happen it it would be better service to the customers if they were made aware of this debacle prior to getting/waiting on line…. Do yourself a favor and take the longer ride to another one…. They can’t all be this bad can they?

This location is terrible. Went today at 6pm and the doors were closed even though the workers were in there doing stuff. They ignored everyone that tried to open the door or knock. No signs or anything saying why they weren't open. And when they DO have their doors open, they're always out of so much stuff, or the food tastes days old. Yuck!

Take the time to go to another location. Always out of many different essential items including chicken, tortillas, and queso cheese. Not to mention their portion sizes are very skimpy for chipotle. Such a disappointment the couple times I’ve been to this location.

Hard pass at this location, they were out of the chicken, peppers, corn and a few other things. I ended up leaving mid line since they had nothing. I'm not paying full price and not even get the things I wanted on it.

My friend came back to this location again to try to give it another chance. NOPE, hard pass again. They seem to never have anything!

This location at 1717 Walden ave Cheektowaga was so filthy today! It seems like no one cared, trash all over the floors. The food stations had not been wiped down. This location definitely does not represent the Chipotle brand very well.

Over an hour before close and they are consistently “out” of white rice. My favorite part of the bowl I can never enjoy when I get out of work: (

Can’t go wrong with Chipotle, food is always great, customer service is good, sometimes it’s a little unclean (tables and floor) but you can always ask an employee for help and they will gladly assist you
