Chock Full O'Nuts reviews
6Reliable and consistent. Nothing extraordinary but is usually my go to place.
This seems to be a smaller location, so they seemed to offer much less than they typically would there. The older guy at the counter (only one there) didn't seem to understand the things we were asking for that my friends and I had ordered from other locations, which would be understandable, but he also didn't seem to understand what we were asking about when we pointed to a special drink advertised in the display on the window. They didn't have bagels, red velvet frappes, or the savannah pecan mocha from the outside ad, but didn't clarify if they ran out of any of the drinks or if they just aren't stocked there. The muffins and drinks we did get were exceptionally wonderful as always, though, and the interior looked decently nice, if small. The menu display was a little old and could be touched up in a couple places, but everything else was pretty good overall. A little room for improvement, but overall not a bad experience at all.
Overall, the coffee is very good. Not worth the premium price I paid, but very good overall. The service was quick and easy. The atmosphere could use a clean up but overall I would return.
Usually a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I had to leave because I couldnt take the attitude of the barista working around 3 pm today. I've been a regular for several months and dont see myself going back for a while. I never fail to buy from them if I ever use the cafe. Even when I sprained my ankle I limped over to the counter just to buy. As painful as it was, no one offered help. Today I wanted a juice, except, they were charging $7 for a cup of orange juice. I changed my mind and put it back. I sat down to eat as I was very hungry, fasted till 3, and two minutes later the barista harassed me of sitting down without making a purchase. I said I was still deciding, which i actually was looking at the menu when he walked up to harrass me. He did this in front of other customers in the attempt to embarrass me. Which he did, so I left. Wont be going back.
I got a coffee and a muffin. The muffin was very dry. And the coffee did not taste great. It tasted like gas station coffee. I will save my money or go somewhere else next time.
