15I placed an order for a pair of flats from the CL Madison and received them but they didn't fit. I can say my service was amazing having to return them from overseas. Paul Fishman was so helpful refunding my purchase. Thanks again Paul for your awesome service!
Carissa and Paul were amazing! There was also a newer saleswoman who was very warm and welcoming too. I had a specific type of boot in mind and didn't see anything in the store. Carissa said she knew exactly what I was looking for and brought out the perfect boot in my size from inventory. It was the last one in that size and she was going to buy it herself. As a matter of fact, she had her old pair in the back and kindly slipped them on, so I could see how they wore over time and how wonderful they look even after a few years. I bought them and was given a sample of a limited Laboutin perfume as well. Great service that went above and beyond, I will shop there again!
I bought a pair of shoes for my wedding (paid for them in full with the promise they’d be sent from NYC to the Toronto boutique) and this location sold them to another customer 8 whole days later instead of shipping them to me. They were the last pair in North America and I had been so excited to track them down and assumed they were mine after I paid for them.
No explanation, no apology.
If the error had been made within 24 hours I may have been able to accept it was a mixup, but a full week later? Highly disappointing and bad business practice.
I had an amazing experience. I was greeted and kindly served by Paul. It was my first time in the shop and I felt so welcome. Paul has gone above and beyond to help me get my hands on my first pair of red sole shoes! They are in transit to me, I can hardly wait for them to arrive. Thank you Paul for the wonderful experience. I'll be back for my second pair, when I next go to New York!
Went above and beyond! I purchased a gift certificate back in 2011. It was never used until a couple of weeks ago. When I arrived, I was seeking out a bag for my wife. I was greeted by Paul and he was awesome! He showed me several items and even showed items that I found online but they only had different colors in the store. Due to the age of the gift certificate, Paul had to call the corporate office. That's all fine. Paul called me a day later and was able to verify the gift certificate and processed my order. If you go to this location, ask for Paul and he will help you out.
I loved the shoes I bought, however wasn’t thrilled with my experience. My sales associate, Gezsel. B wasn’t keen in sharing any details on the products and had to be coaxed to share and show me anything. The disinterest was very annoying and the excitement of buying the product was just squashed. A note to the Louboutin team, kindly groom your teams to do a better job at customer engagement. People are spending a good amount to own your products and these kind of experiences dishearten them to revisit the store.
My daughter, my dad and I were in this store waiting to purchase shoes. My dad was helped on the men's side with absolutely no problem. I promise my daughter and I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for someone to assist us. There were 2 women and they both pretending that we weren't there. Someone else walked in and they responded "hello, we will be right with you"! We couldn't believe it, I walked out! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!
Purchased directly from the brand. Received defective (Irizia Black Patent 100mm pumps). Arrived with black marks, interior scuffing modeling a wear and tear look. Also, poor packaging in the actual shoe box. What happened to inspection and quality control prior to shipment? Not what I expect from Christian Louboutin. Had to seek a last minute alternative due to this company's negligence and poorly executed resolution. Hung up on by client services multiple times and not offered a prompt resolution along with no sense of empathy. My refund was unnecessarily delayed. Requested a manager multiple times and it was not honored. An associate did falsley represent themselves I found out later as a Supervisor and still did not promptly resolve the matter. No one went above and beyond. I will not support or recommend this company due to horrible customer service experience. Unacceptable on every level. Mortified as a first time customer and purchasing directly from the brand. I was expecting the same if not best as my great experiences continuously with Jimmy Choo, Giuseppe, Manolo Blahnik, Gianvito Rossi, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. Their quality products are delivered in pristine condition. CL must understand that customer/client services can be the beginning to the end of a brand. Very possible. You will not get my funds.
Of the many boutiques visited between CA & NY, this one is the best by far as far as selection, stock, and outstanding service. Jill is the best and an absolute sweetheart! Will only shop here for my red bottoms!

I figured I would stop here for the first time as I have been looking to treat myself to some high-quality shoes to wear on my birthday. I was utterly disappointed. They require masks for all patrons despite vaccination status. This is fine, but the doorman will let you fumble for ten minutes rummaging through your things for your mask before offering one from the store. When I attempted to enter, he said there was a wait due to staffing (not capacity limits) and it could be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour and slammed the door in my face. I suppose you cannot even browse the store while you wait. Needless to say, I will take my money elsewhere. Manolo Blahnik, down the street, has absolutely lovely staff and allows one to browse.
Very rude and unprofessional staff. I had an issue wanting to change a pair of shoe. The manager professionalism was was at all time low. I love Christian Louboutin. I will still shop with them but not at the Madison Ave location. Again the manager was very disrespectful & rude. Thank you.
Best shoe store in NYC. Amanda is super awesome. Wife loves this store and has purchased over 100 pairs worldwide. She loves this location best (Saks is a close 2nd). Be sure to ask them to put you on the notice list when the new stuff comes out. They sell out fast with the newest stuff but this location can get them faster than any other CL store we have been too. Has some great men's shoes too.
Best customer service of all the louboutin stores I have been to. Very friendly and Tansu was wonderful!
