Chu Ros Thai reviews
14Visited this cute place twice, once for lunch specials and another time for dinner. Both times the food and service was good.
Great restaurant for lunch & dinner! I recently was in the area and decided to pop in for lunch. This restaurant is small but absolutely beautiful inside, very aesthetically pleasing. When I sat down, I was greeted right away and provided with the menus. Chu Ros offers many different food options and cocktails & they have an amazing happy hour. I highly recommend the panang curry and pineapple fried rice, absolutely delicious!
Great thai place! We got the kaprow, pad see ew and khao mun gai.
The kaprow was great. Great wok flavor cones through.
We got shrimp pad see ew and we're surprised by the amount of shrimp we got. It was full of flavor.
The khao mun gai was ok but overcooked for my liking. The soup was good and refreshing with a good ginger flavor.
SO CUTE! Mel was so sweet and attentive and recommended great mocktails. Basil fried rice was very spicy but delicious
Nice Thai place for the neighborhood with a bit punny name for Spanish Harlem lol. A bit too "romantically" lit which is a pet peeve of mine. Tom Yum soup is hot and spicy great for the winter, so is the pork belly curry. Tastfully decorated with a full bar and good cocktails. A bit cozy for our party.
Stumbled upon this place one day when I looking for a place to have lunch I work not too far from it. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and service. Everyone is so nice here and the food is really good.
My go to meal is the Three Flavor Fish which is salmon in this semi spicy sauce. I love that they put the sauce on the side so that you can either just eat the salmon with the veggies alone which are baby corn and cabbage or mix the sauce into the dish. I once saved the sauce and mixed it in with some chicken breast strips that I made at home and it was delish! My other go to favorite is the Pineapple Fried Rice.
I really don't think you can go wrong at this place. Writing this review is making me want to order from them right now lol.
Really nice Thai spot in East Harlem, a hidden gem the ambiance and decor is soooo cute and the food is really good and well priced. My go to is tofu pad Thai we come here often for work lunches
Our Bnb host mentioned this little gem, 2 blocks from the apartment, and so pleased with the food, amazing! Had fhe pad thai and drinks and yummy appetizers, we enjoyed the food very much! Will definitely repeat next time we are in NY.
Delicious food, very friendly and lovely staff. Beautifully decorated shop If you come during the day, you can take photos in a warm corner. But if you come in the evening, the photography angle will look different and beautiful in another way.
Hands down the poshest Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Shame to order take out from here when the owner clearly put alot of thought into the decor. Its a lovely place for a first date with delicious food. I was pleasantly suprised by the menu, which included vegan, street and cozy food.
Great lunch and happy hour specials
Lovely service, super cute decor and delicious food with many vegetarian options.
Low key atmosphere, nice and discreet service (not overwhelming) and really good food. I recommend the Pad Krapow
I enjoyed the Pork Tom Yum last night. As the waiter placed it in front of me I inhaled the wonderful sourness and felt nostalgic for my years in Thailand. The aroma and the delicious flavor of this soup brought back wonderful memories. I recommend Chu Ros!
While passing through New York, we tried this restaurant close to where we live. First time then a second time we loved it so much. The dishes were delicious, the atmosphere very warm and the service top notch. This is a great discovery with very good value for money.
