Blaw blaw blaw, all these fake 5 star reviews. My son and I came to train here for part of our camp, and some young 20 year old told us it would be $50 to use the gym. I explained to him my kid was signed to Mayweather promotions and needed a place to train well we were in New York. I own a boxing gym in Oakland Ca there is an unwritten rule that we charge $10 or most of the Time let a fellow fighter especially a pro prospect in for free, take a few pics brag about them coming in and call it a day! Instead they tried to charge me $50 too saying coaches and fighters both have to pay. I said ill just sit n watch then, they replied thats coaching. Due to time constraints i just payed the $50 so my boy could train and get his reps. We went to Gleasons a day later and were treated with much more respect and bought teeshirts as a way of showing our gratitude which is what we would have done at Church st. This gym looks real, but its not! Dont waste your time training here theres no sparring n the staff have 0 people skills

I was visiting from Chicago and enjoy checking out gyms that offer Muay Thai classes as I've been training for three years. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. I was treated with more respect here than in my "home gym" in Chicago! Felt like family right away. Tried calling other gyms in the area before I found this one and they were way too bougie and unwelcoming on the phone. If you want a serious workout and want to meet awesome people, check this place out! I'll be back:)

I was going to come here and pay for services but when I read how unvaccinated clients must wear a mask I immediately exited out. I feel if I go they will request to see my card & that’s way against hippa law.

Today was my first class at church street boxing gym and it was AMAZING&INTENSE! My instructor was Teon, who was very hands on and attentive! He watches your every move and as well as make corrections when your doing a movement wrong which i LOVED because this was my first time in a long time. The instructor desires for you to become you best self. All levels are welcomed there! This was my very first boxing class and i felt very comfortable and welcomed so you will be also! I'm Looking forward to my next class.

Loved this place! Was an intense great workout and if I still lived in Los Angeles this is the place I'd go to get my sweat on! The coaches are so nice and informative, really helped a lot being my Church Street Boxing Gym! I loved it and would recommend to everyone!

I had some of the best training sessions of my life here the place has no dedicated trainer in the sense that they are not employees they are independent contractors and you are just at the mercy of whoever wants to trade you based upon you asking but they were plenty people to spar you just have to have proper gear if you find the right chain or you get lucky that like I did then you will learn a lot I miss this place a lot

Love this place! You are guaranteed a serious workout here.

If you come here consistently and aren't getting into better shape then you are absolutely doing something very wrong. Love training with Scrap, you can tell he is passionate about his craft and teaching others.

See you on the bag!

This place is everything a gym should be. Although I left NYC two years ago, I spent a significant amount of time at Church St.during my 5 years there and it became a second home for me. People from all over the world, with diverse experiences, careers, etc, all came together with a single goal of making each other better. Jayo, Kalief, Nico, etc.have become brothers to me. Thanks to everyone who helps make this place the best gym in the country.

The gym is fantastic. I went to 15-20 classes and I was pushed to the limit each one. The instructors are all professionals with great personalities. The classes are usually small enough so that the instructor can walk around and give individual criticism for each student. I always felt great after the class and always looked forward to it. I'd recommend the gym to anyone.

Grimey, no bs, no gimmicks fighting gym. For the Muay Thai class, I like that there’s about as many women as men. The coach gave me feedback on my kicks and stances as I went through the workout. And while it was painful, I want to do it again!

Once you settle and get used to the rhythm of the classes and facility, it’s a great experience.p. S for newcomers: don’t be intimidated on your first day. The coaches will make you work hard and sweat hard, just keep pushing.

I just started here. I’ve never boxed at any gym ever. And although I’m surrounded by tons of experienced people, I’ve never felt left out. If you’re thinking about joining, at least go visit one of the gyms and see how non-corporate, down to earth the facilities are. It’ll be worth your time.
