This property is a solid performer. Convenient location, close to Tommy Bahamas or Valerie for a great happy hour. And quickly walkable to Grand Central or Times Square. It's not fancy schmancy. The rooms are quite neutral in color with nothing on the walls. The lobby and halls are unremarkable. But.the rooms still are near perfect for solo or couple travelers. My room, although small, was clean, fresh (meaning it was recently updated) and appointed with the must haves.fluffy towels and wash cloths, an iron, a coffee maker and a functioning remote. My king bed was comfortable and ya' gotta' love an adjustable shower head. I'm talkin' telescoping, so good for all heights. And this shower would easily accommodate 6'3". Sorry I forgot to snap pics for this one.

We should have looked at the reviews before we decided to stay here. We stayed here with our friends for a total of 4 nights. On the 2nd night, my friends noticed that their belongings were missing from the room ($800+ value). They immediately called the hotel concierge, only to be dismissed by the concierge saying that she could not handle such requests. We continued to try to talk to several 'managers' throughout our stay, but nothing progressed and every staff continued to deny responsibility. Our friends' room was the corner room on the 17th floor, which seemed to perfectly fit in the blind spot for the security camera. Right beside their room, there was a staircase that was also conveniently in that same blind spot.
On the last day, we left with even more empty promises from the concierge, and we have not heard anything back even to this day. We also filed a police report, but of course, the NYC police could care less about things missing from a hotel room.
Overall, we did not feel safe staying here, and would not recommend to anyone.

WORST MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE EVER - ITEMS STOLEN FROM OUR ROOM!
I'm a frequent traveller and this is definitely the worst hotel experience I've encountered. Don't trust Booking.com reviews, the hotel is a HUGE disappointment. Management and customer service are the absolute worst.

We spent 4 nights at the Citadines Connect Fifth Ave, and were put on the 17th floor. We came back from dinner realizing some clothings and cash are gone. We looked everywhere, but it's obvious that they were stolen. We reported this to the front desk right away and Krystal, the Operations Manager promised to look into it. However, their attitude was unacceptable. They did not provide any updates on their investigation, dodged our questions, and were obviously just dragging time and waiting for us to check out. They even lied about not having cameras on the floors. We filed a police report on our last day.

In addition, the staffs are not masked, unprofessional, and they carry sarcastic attitudes. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Breakfast is a joke AND NOT TRULY INCLUDED since It is about go and grab this cheap juice cups and even cheaper quality muffins but coffee is do it yourself in the room WITHOUT PROVIDING ANY DRINKABLE WATER. I needed to either pay 3 dollars for a small bottle of water or go outside and buy some to prepare my own so called breakfast included in the expensive price.
Second worst was I needed to pay 5 dollars to leave one carry-on after check out. For one hour I still needed to pay the price.
Room is small, no fridge no water no big lights (I only had front door light and a small night table light. That was it) and air conditioner either too warm or too cold. The view is towards some ugly back offices windows.
Anything good? Yep. The soap smells good and customer people is nice. I hope they are being treated nicely and if not I hope they find a better job soon.

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE!

If I could give it 0 star I would. We stayed here for four nights. Someone tried to enter our room on the second and third day, aggressively pushing and banging on our door. The hotel only offers house keeping service upon request but we never requested it. My friend who stayed at a different room had his jacket (with valuables in the pocket) and a pair of pants stolen from his room on the second day. We filed a complaint with hotel management but they denied responsibility and refused to check security footage. They kept saying that they will “look into it” but pushed it off till the last day and told us to wait for an email when we’re checking out.

This is a shady hotel where staff members can enter your room without permission and deny responsibility when your belongings are stolen. The hotel management is dodgy and you should NOT feel safe staying here.

Oh, and our room did not have a coffee machine. We asked for it on the first night as soon as we arrived, then multiple times throughout our stay and even though they said they will “send it up to our room asap” it never happened.

Overall, it’s a horrible experience and I would NOT recommend anyone visiting NYC to stay here.

Was okay considering the price compared to other New York hotels but still is lacking in wardrobe space and having to book cleaning of the room.

The rooms are very small, the room cleaning service is good, the location is excellent, the breakfast is not like what we expected

Good location but hotel management/ customer service is terrible. During our stay in December, TWO different hotel staff unlocked and opened our door during the stay without knocking first. Will absolutely not stay here due to privacy concerns. When spoke to hotel management about this they did not care and did not try to make up their mistakes.

I can't complain about anything. When we arrived the check in receptionist was friendly and the process was quick and efficient. The lobby, elevators, hallways, room and bathroom were very clean. The decor was very modern and inviting. Everything looked.new. The location was perfect for us close to everything we had planned but away from the crowds on Time Square. It was a comfortable walking distance from Rockefellar center, Time Square, 5th avenue, Bryant Park, St. Patricks, and Broadway. There were a few places to eat just down the street. We will definately be staying there again.
