Customer service is as bad as it could possibly get. Especially offshore reps. I know more than they do. Pathetic.

I have been trying since August 2022 to get Citibank to release funds withheld with out an explanation. Why are we being transferred out of the country to speak to customer service? Even if I went into a branch here in the city, they have to speak to customer service out of the country. There is a language barrier, I have called so many times with promises that thing would happen for me, I have been hung up on some many times that I can't even count it. I am a poor person and I need my money back, Citibank has the ability to reach into my account and make decisions about it, but when I get my money back and I will never stop trying, will I get interest earned? Citibank, do better and give me my money.

Citi' online banking is slower than a snail. Tried to set a time period to down load your transactions in Quickbooks format and it took so many clicks to get there while waiting for the Custom Date Range to popular is such a pain. Wondering why Costco would even choose such as credit card issuer as a partner.

Formally, I have locked my card due to the incompetence of this Bank. Specifically, it would appear that the leadership is the problem. They do not listen, pay attention, identify their errors, or (very importantly), they do not CORRECT their mistakes in customer accounts. Their staff try to assist but the management has destroyed confidence and trust badly. It is mistake on mistake now. For months, I have tried to resolve problems. It is a waste of time.
On 12/19/22, I called Citi 4 times on the customer services number. Twice they disconnected my call and never called me back. Two other times, they argued with me in spite of the facts that their own statements show.
On 12/19/22, I called The New York offices. They gave me inaccurate info as to another number on one occasion. On the second try, they kept me on hold for 20 minutes and then said I could not get assistance at that location. Bye.
Citi has now become the WORST BANK that I have had the misfortune to deal with in 40 years. The CEO, Jane Fraser seems to be a first class disaster.

Business issues was with Appliance center in Sylvania, Ohio. Miss informed on plan and financing plan and payment.

*CITIBANK* Customer service- Very professional, very helpful. Handled all issues caused by appliance centers. Agent was Michael 131208414 give this man attention.

I've been a customer since 2008. The service is terrible. Have no idea what I get in rewards. When you try to speak to someone at Citi. They may speak English but it's an English that I don't understand. You would think they would be interested in customer care.

Citibank is blocking transactions of depository receipts. They hide behind a warning from the sec without even a legal binding. They allowed the sale abroad at a rate far below 5 dollars, but are now blocking all reverse transaction to ”protect” customers and against money laundering.
Citibank is the only way for many european customers to convert their ADRs into real shares and to avoid a total loss. You signed the Three-Point-Declaration as a Custodian to respect the customer rights but now you are doing the opposite.

I called about a disputed credit card amount. They had sent me a letter which supposedly showed the details of why I had made that charge. After reviewing all of the details there was nothing in there about the specific charge that I had made. In other words for the amount of the charge there was no detail of an event that caused that charge. So I decided to call and the first two calls ended with waiting online and then having the system beep beep and cut me off. Finally got a person that would talk to me. Every time I asked her a question she said please wait 2 to 3 minutes and then she would go off. It seems like they have one computer for maybe 50 agents I can't think of any other reason why their performance would be so bad. That call also finally got cut off. But the city system called me back gave me three beeps and hung up again so even their automated system is messed up. Terrible

Very beautiful building Very clean and secure Nice to have a good court in the building but food is so so at best and not at good prices but I guess paying for convenience

I have barely been a client for 6 hours.and I already do not like the bank. Customer service literally just runs you around in circles.chat to a phone number to phone number to 3 more phones numbers.back to chat.back to the same phone numbers. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON KNEW WHAT TO DO OR WHAT DEPARTMENT TO SEND ME TO.and well.there arent anymore phone numbers to give me.edit: 6 weeks later. WORST BANK EVER. GET OUT!

It's shocking the amount of psychological warfare and harassment that this institution uses against you when you owe money. For the first time in my life I am behind on payments on a credit card. I don't plan to pay them because I was charged interest on a no interest credit card and they will call you everyday at 8: 00 in the morning and no one's on the other line, it either hangs up on you or it's an automated voice system. This seems deliberate and specific to scare the average person into paying up.

Impossible website, who ever got hired to create it needs to be fired.nothing but problems.customer support is useless and problematic to contact. Viewing transaction if you want to see more it does not list all transactions.key words are confusing, avoid this company

I know your all's pain with Citi. I have been dealing with an issue for a year & half & yet have not talked to an American & nothing gets resolved. They double-billed me on a $700 balance transfer. Sending for second time Certified Letter to Corporate in NY. I'm about to cry.

I set up external bank transfer to HSBC, routing number, account #, tested with small amount transfers, It has been 2 weeks but it never worked. Keep logging me out and I can't find the HSBC account that I set up on the transfer list.
I call for assistance, talked to two person outside the U. S.and couldn't understand half of the conversation due to their accents and background noises. Spent over two hours and went to a Citi Bank branch, problem still not solved.
Citi Bank Officials: what are you going to do about this problem?
Suich a waste of time.

Terrible experience. Costco needs to dump these clowns. Website is a game instead of a useful tool, too many pop ups with extortion "MUST make a selection" or you can't make a payment and it's not to update an agreement for users. Stupid things like forcing you to go paperless constant nagging. Support forget it, try and make a payment, in fact the make a payment under the account overview has never worked, logs you out instead or asks for your log info twice after you just entered it.
