Very Professional and the staff is very knowledgeable. Helped us out with our very quirky need. Great Gem in the Neighborhood.

Unfortunately, I have the same experience. I too get followed around this store. Not always, only when a certain gentleman chemist is in charge and instructs his staff to follow me around in a non-so-subtle way.

Every single time I come to this store, I’m guaranteed to be followed by staff. I use to think I was just imagining it, but after watching two staff members fiddle with product as they watched me and husband choose which shaving cream to buy, it’s safe to say I will never step foot in this store again.

What an amazing store, thank god it’s not another Duane Read or another major pharmacy.
Unique and great products and a wonderful customer service!

Peter who is the pharmacist at City Chemist helped me receive a medicine that was uncovered with my insurance in other pharmacy. I only paid my insurance $10 for the medicine which was $300 in other pharmacy.

Bought stuff there. They didn’t give me one item I bought. Called them when my wife told me it was not in the bag. They “delivered it” to me so I don’t have to go out. Now my wife shows me it is half empty and already obviously used.

I am not sure what is it with New York. I lived in 7 countries, this is the only place this happened and it happens repeatedly. We got used cosmetics in Macey’s, Bloomingdales etc.

Very aesthetically pleasing store! Great selection, pharmacy is always helpful, and that staff is excellent. Glad this place is in town!

Needed a prescription (antibiotic for an eye stye) and the pharmacy ran out. Expressed to Pharmacist that I really needed it. He went and retrieved it from another location and then dropped it off at 9pm at my apartment buildings front desk. This is why I will continue to always go here versus the chains like Duane reade or CVS. Was so impressed with this.

Horrible customer service.
I loved this place since its opening and.until today. I spent at least hundreds of dollars here. The very unpleasant experience happened today. A girl who doesn't know what to do and not knowing what's wrong works there. When I pay, I noticed that there was a problem with their rewards system and asked her to fix it. She never understood what was wrong even after the manager came and fixed it. If there's a problem and it's your fault, you apologize. She didn't do it until the end and even showed her attitude to me, instead, a manager did it. I would have understood it could happen if she was new. But she said she is not new. It's even worse. People who do not know how to do customer service should not be engaged in the service industry. I seriously want to suggest to the company that she will choose another job. I was treated so badly by her and still couldn't believe it. Watch out, guys!

Had to get a prescription transferred here. Customer service from pharmacist and store clerks was way better than the pharmacy I had just came from.

Perfect location for this neighborhood where a good pharmacy was badly needed! Well decorated store. Found people very helpful here so far.

Beautiful space and selection of items! Great location and something that is needed in Court Square neighborhood

Solid lineup of candles. One major factor they could improve upon are the store hours though. They close way too early, hopefully that will change in the future
