The Loft - a very pleasant experience at Beth Nielsen Chapman's concert. Excellent cider. Drinks good. Service friendly and efficient. Good sound, nice space.

Event we went to was absolutely amazing, just amazing! 14$ wine in a plastic cup with amount of it about 1 inch in it, not so much. You want to sit there and enjoy your show, but to get a drink you have to scan barcode and go through check out process to enter you credit card information like you do when you online shop.someone have to flash you some light to be able to see your card.all at the same time the amazing show goes on.nahh.no thank you!

First time ever seeing a show at City Winery and I was unsure of what to expect. I bought a balcony ticket and couldn't find any photos online of what my view would look like from the balcony seats and the table seating on the floor looked very cramped so I wanted to make sure the balcony was not the same. I was pleasantly surprised, the seat is a single seat with a great view and lots of personal space next to you! The only weird part was there is a 1 foot glass barrier at the edge of the balcony that of course was right between eye line and where the performer stood on stage (so top half of the performer was not in front of a glass barrier and bottom half of performer was behind a glass barrier - if that makes any sense). It wasn't that distracting though, just someone I'm not used to.

If you have a balcony seat an employee brings you personally to your seat so you know exactly where you are sitting and then a server comes and takes your drink and food order. I was confused how to order another drink in the middle of the show - It seemed like the only time the server comes to you is within 15 minutes of you sitting down, to take your order and within 20 minutes before the end of the show to close our your tab. Other than that a very pleasant experience!

Went to a Concert to see Jon B.it was my First visit. FOOD. MUSIC AND DRINKS AWESOME. EXPERIENCE. FUN FUN FUN FUN

Visited a concert at the loft. Small beers, big prices. Food is mediocre an quite expensive. Service was slow (don't know if they were understaffed or had other problems) still very friendly though.
Sound and concert were superb.

Good looking place.

Dirty toilet
Not recommend.

Went to City Winery last night to see John Waters speak. The venue very interesting and the show was enjoyable. However, I'd think twice about coming back to see another show here. The service was not great. We arrived an hour before the show and were seated promptly. My wife asked the server a question about the white wines available. The server basically said she didn't know anything about the wines.at City Winery. We then ordered a food. The kung pao cauliflower, fries and pizza. Much to our surprise the pizza arrived within seconds. Like, immediately. Way too fast. Like, we were just taking our first sips of our drinks. We were not expecting to have what we considered the main item arrive before the sharing plates and within 3 minutes of ordering. If I had to guess, I'd say that pizza was pre-fired and waiting someone to order it to go immediately. Too soon. We were just gettig settled in. The pizza itself was unremarkable. Eventually the fries & cauliflower arrived as well. The fries are served in a mini-fryer basket that is a fun look but really just exposes the fries to heat loss on all sides, so they were cold very quickly. The fries also appeared to have almost no seasoning. The cauliflower was ok but al-dente. Our server never returned to ask us how our food was or if we wanted more drinks. She did ask the people at our table how their food was but not if they wanted anything else. We eventually flagged her down for another round. A wine & a beer. The drinks came 5-10 minutes apart despite being about 10 feet from the bar. Everything felt very disjointed. Our tablemates, who we did not know, got their meals that they ordered and were the exact same thing 10-15 minutes apart. One other oddity is that during the big pre-show crush for the women's room, my wife reported that several of the female staff were also in line for the same bathroom as showtime drew near, adding to the crazy line. Seemed like odd timing. I know, if you gotta go, you gotta go but is that the best bathroom for the staff to be using in the rush? In general, the show was fine, but the service & food quality left a lot of be desired. I may have gotten better service at Medieval Times. At least they refilled my flagon of Pepsi quickly.

We came mostly for the Strawberry Fields Beatles cover band, which was awesome! Food is ok.

I was there for "The Lads from Liverpool" on the 30th. I was pleased with the food and service. It's also a great venue. I was near the stage, the views and acoustics were excellent.
I had the Honey Pizza, it was very tasty.
I'd definitely go back.

Music is good. Food is well made, but portions are very small.

There is a ridiculous 19% service charge on all ticket orders.

DO NOT ORDER FOOD IN THIS PLACE.me and my girlfriend got food poisoned.we order the pizza to share and it was awful.so since i didn't eat that i order french fries.which were burned and saggy and no eatable.such of beautiful place and great music.but i will never order food there.a 99 cents pizza place will do a better job on making pizza.its just beyond my understanding how is it that they can get even french fries wrong.i will go there again for the music but i will never ever eat there again.

Worst comedy venue in the city. At the loft, smallest table they have is four people. If you show up solo or with another person, there’s nowhere to sit, there’s also nowhere to stand, and the bar only does table service, so you can’t even get a beverage
Updated - contacted the person listed below, and no response at all, which shows that they are not interested in improving any deficiencies that effect a customers experience, at all. Avoid this venue.

The venue, the lights, sound system, the river view, the staff, all made a great night to watch a live music performance.

We were sat quickly, but then ignored for 30 minutes. When we flagged the hostess down to let her know that no one had come to our table, she said “Give me five minutes and I’ll find you a waiter”. Find us a waiter? Should that not have happened 30 minutes ago?

Once we did get a waiter, he was overworked and unable to really wait on us. We saw him when we ordered and when he brought us the bill. Apparently the person who was supposed to be our waiter went on break, and when she returned she never came to our table to acknowledge that she was our actual waiter or take over, even though she stood at the bar five feet away from us. The only time we saw her was when she cashed us out and complained about how busy it was. She never apologized for ignoring us or leaving the other waiter out to dry. The food was alright, but certainly does not make up for the terrible service. Recommend avoiding this place

If you are looking for a place for your corporate party, wedding or Bar Mitzvah, this cafe is an excellent choice. There is a lot of room for guests, beautiful interiors and a beautiful view of the Hudson River.

This place was so beautiful the way we’re the place it’s located, as soon you get in the staff was friendly, but the place was cozy very nice lighting and the decor was super dope, and prices were ok too I loved the experience and I will definitely will go again
