CityMD East 37th Urgent Care - NYC reviews
18Perfectly organized service, exceptional professionalism of medical personal, friendly atmosphere and courtesy of the whole office!
Excellent City MD. Dr. Hong Choi was personable and thorough. Staff, nurses and doctors are all first rate. You are in very good hands here.
Great staff. Front desk staff, nurses and doctors are very considerate and listen to you and answer all your questions. Great team! Not much wait. I recommend!
City MD have been terrific all the time professionally, efficiently and with kindness. I am strongly thinking of using them all the time and having them as my Primary Care physician.
Honestly should be 0/5 but that option isn’t available.tldr: terrible care, no solutions, invalidated patient, ordered unnecessarily expensive tests
Visited urgent care for knee related injury; did not give me time to ask questions, did not answer the few questions I did have, ordered unnecessary, expensive tests, offered no explanation/solutions for the problem afterward, didn’t refer me to a specialist after saying that they would.had to call them myself to find out the physician didn’t put an order in at all.would never go back, only redeeming quality was the professionalism of the front desk staff, despite the atrocious treatment
From out of town and needed help just before holiday. My wife and I were able to easily get in on short notice. Care was excellent and kindly given. We would be return again if needed.
What a great health care service for everyone! So fast, so professional, so kind! I feel so lucky to have this excellent care so accessible.
I fell, injuring my hand and wrist. Went to City MD and 30 minutes later left for home after X-Ray showed No broken wrist. I was fitted with a brace and given clear instructions on medication for pain and use of the hand/wrist brace. Excellent care! Thank you!
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled based on the excellent care I received at CityMd 3rd ave location last week, they were so pleasant and kind when I was felt unwell. Seriously the most pleasant urgent care visit I've had!
The clinic was clean and the check-in/walk-in process was really simple.
Would highly recommend.
Great team. Friendly and welcoming.
Thoughtful and caring Physician, excellent bedside manner and thorough.
Excellent place to get fast results for your health conditions. This urgent care location was very clean. The Doctors and staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you for your excellent service.
Everyone I came into contact with was very helpful and kind ~ a very pleasant experience! Especially Dr. Baker and nurse Ron, Tiffany, in reception, along with another great young woman whose name I missed. A+
Very skilled, caring, careful, clear. I feel so much safer and happier knowing that they are nearby
Excellent care. Thankful for the speedy, accurate and instructive diagnosis and treatment. Well run facility.
Whatever you do, try to avoid seeing Mithani Naushina as your provider. Multiple pieces of information she gave me seemed odd, so I checked with my standard provider in another state, who advised me that this doctors advice was wildly inaccurate and not medically based.
Went to CityMD to get a tetanus shot.
I was seen pretty fast. The doctor took the time to ask question, gave me the shot and I was on my way.
Overall pretty good experience
Last week I had a severe laceration on my hand and went to CityMd. It is rare to meet such a caring, knowledgeable doctor as Dr. Baker. Not only did she care for the wound, but she called for an Uber, paid for it, and walked me to the car that was going to take me to the ER. She felt I should see a hand surgeon first. This doctor restored my faith in the belief that people are very kind. Once again, thank you Dr. Baker, and CityMD. I will never forget your kindness.
I was seen by a doctor whose name I couldn't quite make out on her ID card - it looked like surname Mithani or Mishani. She was curt, abrupt and rude. She did not listen to me and interrupted me 5 times before I stopped counting. This doctor's bedside manner prevented me from feeling comfortable and destroyed any trust I might have had in her. She told me she wanted to order chest X-rays, an EKG and other tests after listening to my heart and determining "Your lungs are clear. " I gently asked the reasons for these tests and she couldn't really provide an answer, other than to say to determine whether I needed to go to the ER for a heart attack. I said we both were probably in agreement I was not having a heart attack and she interrupted me and ignored me. I politely informed her that I felt uncomfortable, didn't feel I was being listened to and asked if I might ask a question uninterrupted and her response was, "Are you refusing medical care? Are you saying you don't want to be assessed? Do you only want a COVID test? " That is not at all what I said and I felt at that point, she was only being combative and it was time for me to leave. Had I been seriously ill or actually at risk of a heart attack, the doctor's poor manners and refusal to provide proper medical care could have caused serious harm. This is very disappointing. Additionally, the over prescription of unnecessary tests is hardly a positive either.
