The supervising physician was incredibly rude and dismissive, asked no questions, just kind of grunted at me and walked out. I had to request a different provider, who also failed to ask basic questions like what color is your phlegm and is there blood in it? I called the next day (day 7 of my illness) to ask for an antibiotic, which was refused with the staff encouraging me to come back into the office so my insurance can be billed again, no doubt. No thank you. I also asked for a note to excuse me from work, which still has not been provided. Of course having a virtual urgent care with an NYU doc who asked all the relevant questions and gave me the quality care all patients deserve, including and inhaler and an antibiotic. Surprise- less than 24 hours after starting the antibiotic I’m feeling better. The front desk staff and the medical assistants were kind and wonderful and LISTENED, but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the clinicians. I don’t know how you have a 4.5 rating, but based on my visit, you surely did not earn it.

Was having trouble at the sign in kiosk, and the worker was there quicker than I could ask for help, wonderful. Very nice and personal receptionists, nurses and practioners. Wasn't expecting much considering the neighborhood but overall great experience.

The young lady at the front desk is very rude. Patients need to be treated with respect and kindness when seeking health care so it is a red flag to have such rudeness at the front desk

CityMD failed me. In a lot of pain unbearable pain and all the doctor gave me were muscle relaxers and pain killers with patches! No real examination just assumption! I work in the healthcare field and I could have self diagnosed myself! Emergency room here I come!

As an adult the patient care was awesome, but I took my toddler son to take the flu-shot and the facility definetely needs improvement on how they manage toddlers for patient care.

I only go to this one because the wait time isn’t that bad but there’s a closer one to me somehow that’s worse. That being said, I went for a COVID test bc I’m sick. The medical assistant who took my vitals said it’s up to the Dr’s discretion if I need a PCR & for now he’d perform the rapid. I told him I’m the patient & I don’t trust the accuracy of the rapid & I just want the PCR. This policy makes zero sense to me and they’ve told it to me before but ANYONE can do the PCR. An MA, a phlebotomist, a nurse, or a doctor can do the PCR. All the doctor has to do is order it. So why they made me sit in that same exam room for another hour after the MA left to wait for the doctor. The PCR took 30 seconds btw all I said was I’m symptomatic (which I am). To wait 60 minutes for a task that takes 30 seconds is crazy. THE DR DOESN’T HAVE TO PERFORM IT

Front desk person should be retrained and care more about customer service. Long wait with few people there. Staff weren't welcoming or friendly with the exception of the Dr. She was very pleasant.

The nurse told me to leave while my child gets examined. Also, I had the nerve to ask my child-a, five y/o, if I can go, which she has no idea what she agrees to, nor is she capable of making decisions. I told the her-the nurse I was not leaving. I had never had this issue with a doctor/or nurse before. She left the room to speak to her supervisor and said I could stay. I do not know what her intentions were, but I’m skeptical, and parents, please learn from my experience with these nurses/and doctors

The 3rd time being here and I’m appalled by the lack of compassion and the willingness of the doctors I’ve seen. After being told by after care that they advise me to come in the office doesn’t know what I’m there for when arriving the test results I already have were given to me the further testing I was told that was needed by after care reading a message from the city md themselves was never done the doctor left the door open and pretty sure he disclosed me personal information to his colleagues and for that reason alone is why I’m writing this review I would love for someone to reach out because this was 1 of the most embarrassing things I’ve experienced this.

Went for covid testing in the late morning. The wait wasn't long and I realized it's because they're super organized. The front desk was like an assembly line. It's was also prestine, I saw one of the staff spraying everything with disinfectant.

I’ve been there about three times and every experience has been different. Went in for back pain the first time. Basically told that the back pain was expected because of my work. A work that I’d been doing for 3 years at that point. Gave me a note and a prescription for a muscle relaxant the equivalent of a Tylenol. Went back for a Flu Shot and was in and out within 20 minutes, the staff was pleasant and area was clean. The third time I went in for Pneumonia, was treated like I had a regular cold and was sent home. Went to another CityMD downtown the same day and was tested and told that I had Pneumonia. The staff on that day were a bit dismissive starting with the folks at the desk, the doctor wasn’t any better, she acted like I was there to waste her time.

My review is a bit late but more importantly, it’s not forgotten. I visited this location back in June and my experience was nothing short of wonderful. Jeffrey at the front desk and the rest of the staff were really attentive and caring. I was in and out with all my medical needs having been met. I’m glad that this location is near my home. Thank you again to all the staff for all that you do. You all are truly appreciated.

Went in for a bad cut I got while traveling. Staff and medical team were very patient and professional. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Two different trips to this center and different experiences for both.

First interaction, the front desk receptionist (female) was not very cordial/inviting/professional. If your representing a center/company as the first person someone see/interacts with show people the common decency. I can honesty say I misread some of the prompts thus inputting my personal info incorrectly (drivers license/ID card vs insurance card). She then called me up an tried to scold me. This did not go over with me well as I was tired, sick and had my own annoyances of the day. Regardless of what your day is like in a customer service field always remember to check yourself. And if you need a break then do so. I understand as human we’re annoying and sickening. After our brief interaction I sat and awaited for the doctor to call me. That interaction was good and I went about my way after I received my rapid test.

Second instance different day. The front desk receptionist (females) would not directly assist an older gentleman on the kiosk machine. One of the females just looked at him and the other was help but from to comfort of her seat. From their interaction he seems like a regular. She was saying a lot of his personal info aloud which should be against HIPPA cuz I could clearly hear whilst in the waiting area. I would suggest maybe speaking in a lower tone when assisting customer/patients since the walking area is very open. Or walk around and help closer. My interaction with the reception team was minimal and all my info was already available from previous visit.

I had a great experience! The doctor was really nice and answered all my questions. They did a few tests and gave me a prescription. The front desk staff is nice and efficient. The assistant was great, very smart young man. I recommend.
