CityMD Maspeth Urgent Care - Queens reviews
18Management needs to do a better job because employees looked overworked. I went in and the staff were nice and professional towards me. It took a long time to be seen, but they did the best that they could. Think somethings wrong with management.
The doctor and ma need to be train better and need to learn how to talk to people. I took my mom there for doctor visit and they said to go to your PCP without even checking anything. Why are you open if you are not going to help ppl. My mom was in pain and these idiots just looked down upon us.
I waited a while in the waiting room.which was fine because there were people ahead of me and I understand that the site was busy. But I got really annoyed once I was called to the back. The young lady who took me back there told me that I would have to wait 10-15 minutes before someone came to see me. No problem. 35 MINUTES LATER, I opened the door and asked the two young ladies (sitting behind a computer) how much longer I would have to wait. I was told that it would be another 10 minutes. I said "10 minutes is what I was told when I was seated. " I would have left but you charged me BEFORE I was even called to the back. Perhaps sensing that I was annoyed, the ladies came in to do my vitals within a few minutes. I wonder, if they were immediately available, why wouldn't they have done it sooner? Why wait until I come out and ask? I went to CityMD because I wasn't feeling well. And I understood that I had to wait, because that's part of the deal when seeking medical treatment. But I feel that from the moment I was called to the back, until I asked about my wait time, your staff just didn't care that I was sitting there waiting.
Giving it one star since the only redeeming quality of my visit on 1/2/2023 was the nurse who administered my drug test for work. She’s a legitimate sweetheart. However, the receptionist I believe her name is Amanda was extremely rude. She told me to put my mask on when I was clearly drinking coffee. I’m well aware of the policy. Please train your employees better.
Checked in 100 minutes ago with 5 patients ahead of us. We are still waiting and there are apparently two doctors on duty!
Took over an hour to get called into a room, and then over 30 minutes for the actual “doctor” to come in to see me. This place is the highest level of disrespect to an ill person. 100% do not recommend. You’re better off going to a hospital.
Today was my second COVID-19 test this week and what a stark difference between the scribes who handle patient care.
I know these tests are uncomfortable but this time he was so rushed that it took less than two seconds to briskly and very painfully swab my nose. It was awful! Mr. T (for anonymity) was about to do a flu test next with the same procedure. I explained to him how that felt and requested someone else. Mattie came in was exceptionall in every way. The flu test plus the PCR test she administered were both bothersome but pain free. Mr. T need a refresher course in patient care and to fine tune his technique.
It was great staff was very helpful and friendly at city md in Maspeth Dr Ralph Capra was the best and very knowledgeable and friendly I will always go back
Was very satisfied with my visit to City MD in Maspeth. The staff were very attentive, caring, competent and professional. They graciously answered my questions and addressed my concerns. Would recommend this medical facility to family and friends.
Excellent and professional staff. Facility is up to date and impeccably clean. Best part, they’ll let you know if there will be an extended wait time which I very much appreciate
Do not go there with little babies! There is no pediatrician, the doctor is incompetent! Waste of time.
Great staff, nurses, and doctors. They are honest with you up front about wait times. Never had a bad experience at this location.
I went there sick and saw Dr Carnaru she was so caring her bedside manner is outstanding. I felt I had professional care she listened to my concerns and addressed them. I would highly recommend Dr. Carnaru to anybody who visits there. Her staff was also very
Friendly and nice
Efficient, courteous and very helpful. Good on site testing. I am recovering and feel so much better!
Second visit to this facility within a week. There was no Dr.or DO available. Seems this business hires more PAs than doctors. Maybe they should change their name to CityPA not City Md.
I was left unattended with no clear instruction at a room for more than an hour. They neglected me.
They had me waiting two hours just to see a super dismissive doctor. I explained to her my concerns. She said that the liquid I felt in my chest was a subjective feeling… avoid this place because who says that to someone.
I understand that there were a lot of patients at the time of my visit, thus, the more than an hour wait. My prescription wasn’t also sent to my preferred pharmacy. One of the staff even confirmed my preferred pharmacy. 2 days later, I still don’t have my prescription meds.
