Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, Ronkonkoma NY

It was horrible christmas eve with my kids they didn’t tell me they had a known intruder in the building who sneaks into rooms and breaks into the building to stay and pulling the fire alarms also slashing tires the entire parking lot every car has a flat christmas morning i checked in and 20 minutes into my stay all four of my tires were slashed and the front desk receptionist said he didn’t tell me because it didn’t concern me.i would of took my business anywhere else if they gave me the decency of letting me know they knowingly had this person causing these issues for days and will not reimburse me a dime ON CHRISTMAS MORNING AND STILL WANTED ME OUT BY 11 with 4 flats in order to get my 100 dollar deposit back with 3 children i will never again book here

I thought it was a 3 star property, I found the furniture to be tatty and my door wouldn't close unless I slammed it shut. All it was great to wake up on Christmas morning to get in your car and find your tires slashed. Not only mine but half the cars in the parking lot. If you don't want to maintain your rooms at least have security in your car park. Wouldn't stay again.

Front desk staff was very hostile and not helpful. Room was clean, but wasn't in the best shape. Could tell it needed to be updated. Water took alittle while to get hot and even then it wasn't hot. More like a cooler warm.

BEWARE! Cars in their parking lot have been getting vandalized all the time lately. Dozens of cars have had their tires slashed recently. I used to pay to park my car when I fly out of McArthur but I will no longer be parking there and DEFINITELY wouldn't ever stay there again. Be careful! Keep yourself safe and stay somewhere else

The hotel is not safe. The exterior doors are open and broke. People going in and out and the door slams, constantly. We checked out after one hour. Could not stay here.

This hotel was terrible, wouldn't clean rooms ever, even when requested. No hot water, no heat when it was cold.no clean towels, no toilet paper. No service. Bar was closed, restaurant was closed
Computers and printers didn't work.

It is rare that I stay at a hotel that's as incompetent as this one. For starters, the first night, I went to take a shower, had to let the water run for the better part of 20 minutes just to get water warm enough. Initially it was coming up of the spigot at 70°. Let it run for 15 minutes and it came up to 98°. (I went and got a thermometer). Currently it's 50° and raining. Heater is such that it's been running for 1½ hour's and the temperature has only come up 5°. It was 63° in the room when I turned on the heat.
Caulking around the sink is cracked completely around the perimeter.
Now the unsafe issue. Mold in the wall, Black mold. Looks as though it's been painted over a time or 2. Honestly don't know how this hotel has a 3 star rating!

Staff is extremely friendly and willing to sort out any issues. Location is really good too. Right by the airport and plenty of places around to eat. Usually pretty quiet as well. Definitely would recommend if you need a place to stay

If I was able to give a 0 I would. I have stayed here once before and it wasn’t half bad. Checked in at 5pm and the room was very warm even though it was 60 out. Turned on the AC and left. Got back at 1am to the room just as warm. Call the front desk and am told by John to open the window. The windows have no screens. His answer was well do you have small children that can fall out? It’s 40 out you can open the window. Refused to change room. Hotel was under 50% occupancy. Here I am at 2am listening to the highway drive past.

The place feel alittle old and not cozy. Looks like it may require alittle bit of work improving it. More lighting and cleaning in the common areas will help.

Zero stars. From management to maintenance. It's run down, there's a strong smell of mold in the entire hotel. Broken windows, broken doors, dirty carpets, guests have found roaches in their room and blood stains in the carpet and on the walls. Samantha the manager is condescending and rude. Also there is an entire section of the hotel that they don't rent out to the public they save it for their family and friends. The jacked up and smoked in rooms they rent to the general public. The best part of this hotel is the Bar and Grill everything else needs to get thrown in the trash Management first

The staff only cares about collecting your money and not making this a safe hotel for its guests. I paid $300 for a room that was disgusting. The carpets needed cleaning, pieces of the ceiling were on the bedding, the bathroom sink and the shower leaked. The hallways were dirty, full of trash, and had strangers in them. ****** DO NOT STAY HERE!
