Clearfield Community Center, Williamsville NY

The facilitiy is fine if you just want to use the pool, playground, tennis courts etc.for yourself. It is just that the classes offered may not be stellar. My sister's were doing swim lessons here. After a couple weeks they were bumped up levels because the class they had was too easy. However, they are only 6&7 years old, and not ready to handle swimming across the deep part of the pool by themselves. The instructors there swore that they would will be willing and able to provide sufficient help for this. However, that was not meant to be.

When my sisters started the new class it had only 1 instructor with 11-12 other kids. Many of which struggled in the deep end. We feel she did not give adequate supervision over them, and even if she put her best effort into that, it was just too many students for one instructor. My family was unable to get lesson timeslots switched, so we just opted to not come back. Something else to note is that they don't do refunds. At least the lessons were cheap.

A great neighborhood pool and kiddie pool. Very clean. The lifeguards are attentive and there are 2 large canopies for shade. There are a few chairs and lounges but many people bring their own.

We used to love coming to this pool, we've swam here every year for 7 years. This is the first year we were met with disgusting prejudice and sudden policy changes. I have lived in & paid taxes in Amherst for 20 years & I guess those of color are still not welcome. Hiw devastating for my child to learn prejudice first hand in 2019.

Usually no problems here. Today 2 boys throwing a half full bottle of water over the canopies almost striking some elderly persons. When I ased them to please stop thdy laughed and continued to throw the bottle around. Went to staff to report 2 boys, they took off. Hope we don't experience thiz again.

Amherst residence really seem to be oblivious about just how many programs this great town offers it's citizens the list goes on and on but we could start and finish with the North Town Center alone, it's a world-class ice arena capable of hosting sled hockey and there are three NHL regulation size dye sheets as well as an olympic-sized ice sheet two of which are capable of hosting sled hockey capacity of 1800 people we're hosting the USA hockey Nationals that's kind of a big deal selects these are the best players in the country Amherst is in great town with great people great superb small town feel amenities still a community and it is still a suburb barely I please ease up on the business parks CSEA local 815 DOES RULE!

Sunday 8/19. Supposed to be open till 5.4pm and closed. Tax dollars going where? My mother in law tried to take my kids 8/25 at 1: 20 pm. Web says your open? You're not open. Is this a sanitary situation?

Of u live out of the town or don't have a recreation cards it's $5 a person but definitely worth it to spend a couple hours in a fun atmosphere!

If I'd have known how pathetic the city pools locker rooms were, is have probably have thought twice about moving to this city regardless of how great the schools here supposedly are.

My son loves the pool been going for years. Locker room is questionable in the clean Dept. Can be crowded and limited amount of chairs.

My son absolutely love this place. It's clean & well maintain. I agree it does need more shaded area to sit

I really love taking my kiddos to this pool. The waterslides and play area is fantastic. I'm also impressed by the multitude of lifeguards they have on staff.

Came here with my two kids (4 & 6 months) mid July while visiting buffalo for my husband’s work trip. What a great find that not even the hotel concierge knew about! For only $10 we got to enjoy the kiddie pool all day, even scored a lounge chair! My daughter absolutely loved it, she called it the “water park” and it might as well have been. So glad I didn’t waste money going to Darien lake water park since all we would have used was the water playground which would have been exactly like this!

Wonderful! So much to do and the kids love it. Staff are amazing, numerous lifeguards on duty, easy to get in and use facilities. I would just add more areas for shade, that is the only thing I would change.

Water was freezing the day we went but my kids absolutely lived the kids area. But the bottom of it was black in alot of areas it really needs to be cleaned

I bring my children almost daily in the summer and they/we LOVE IT!
Its very clean, staff is super nice, no fighting or bullying.we def recommend this place to our friends and family!

Very nice community center for Amherst residents. I did the tennis lessons that the town offered. I learned a lot.

The Clearfield Community Center playground needs to be cleaned. It has broken glass all over the place! It is not safe for children to play there.

This is a nice, clean facility where my sons play basketball indoors. There is a pool, playground and tennis courts for use during the spring and summer months.
