Clemens Center reviews
18As we entered the lobby for a recent OSFL concert we were directed by a male Clemens Center employee to have our tickets scanned in order to enter. Our daughter who is one of the musicians entered with us. As the employee noticed her entering the building through the lobby entrance he scolded her, telling her that in the future she needs to enter through the musicians entrance and he added that's the reason they have one.
Beautiful location to see off Broadway musicals. Great friendly staff. Only drawback is that the sound system can sometimes not be great - but the performance company brings their own sound so it's always different. I wish there was more of a standard system.
Saw an Elmira Little Theater production and had a wonderful time. The Clemen's center was very clean and well kept. Drinks were a bit pricey, but that is expected. My interactions with staff were very helpful and positive.
A beautiful venue with wonderful refreshment options. The nearby parking garage makes your arrival and departure easy!
Beautiful theatre! Not a ton of backstage space or dressing room space, but definitely not the smallest theater I've ever been in. Had a great couple of days in Elmira!
Went and saw CATS last night, and it was by far the best performance I've ever seen incredible, incredible, incredible ️
Amazing local venue for off broadway shows. They always have great staff and a selection of good shows throughout the year.
We didn't see any handicap parking. The venue was great. Comfortable seats and they provided booster seats for kids. Show started right on time. Long bathroom wait at intermission.
CATS was Great!
The Venue is Looking Spectacular and the Staff had it running smooth. We'll done
We saw riverdance which was an outstanding performance. All the staff there were very helpful and polite
No parking, no handicapped parking. Attending the shows here means risking your life crossing four lanes of the busiest street in Elmira with no cross walks or street lights. Just a bad idea. If you do park where it's safe you will have to walk a significant distance to get to the show. Or in the Elmira parking garage yikes! Not even a safe drop off location for elderly or young patrons.
Upstairs snack at was closed which caused more folks to gather in main lobby. It is strongly recommended to wear a mask at all times. Went to see River dance today, awesome.
I can't give an opinion for some place that I have never been to! I was just looking for directions for a concert that happened last December 18th. That's all I can say. Sorry.
It was great! Kenny G didn't disappoint but the bass guitarists feedback from sound system was off. Awesome to get an autograph with Kenny G
Extremely clean historic venue hosting Broadway performances as well as smaller budget performances. Strict universal Covid practices in place (everyone needs a mask to enter). Everyone must wear an N95 while inside and social distancing is encouraged during performances.
The Clemens Center is a great spot to watch shows. It is unique in the area, bringing shows and culture to an Elmira trying to revive. The seats are relatively comfy. The staff is always extremely helpful, and many are volunteers.
The show was awesome! I was not a fan of how packed it was. Everyone had to wear masks so that's great but I had someone directly behind me that kept coughing and the guy next to me kept touching my leg. Not the clemens centers fault, but it would be nice to not have everyone sit on top of each other while covid is still going strong.
