Clifton Park Rest Area reviews
15This is a great rest area. The bathrooms are clean always Hot fresh coffee. Great parking. And a good place to relax. Heading up the northway.
Really nice, peaceful place for a roadside break. The building’s interior architecture is sleek and welcoming.
Needed a quick one-two to strech my legs and for the whole lot to swing by the closet. We thoroughly enjoyed the quaint and policed area. Lads even had the chance to chat with the constables and enjoy a running on the double. Sure and safe bet.
Vending machines, bathrooms, brochures for local sites, State Police Station in the same building. 9/11 memorial out front with a piece of the twin towers.
Large rest area with plenty of parking for RV's. Clean bathrooms and food available. Good place for recharging your batteries on a long drive.
Stopped quickly because my daughter needed a restroom. This is probably the cleanest public bathroom I've ever been in. All fixtures worked, lights were bright, no graffiti anywhere, no cracked floor tiles. I lived in the area for years and never stopped in. If I need to pee on the Northway ever again, it will be here.
Not good forntruck drivers except to park if your out of hours. No shower or fresh food. Just vending machine and bathrooms. Clean though.
Nice area to get out and stretch your legs after driving for awhile. They have a good selection of restaurants and clean restrooms.
This rest stop had a police presence and when I needed to pull off the road for a rest I felt safe and comfortable in my vehicle. There is adequate lighting and Easy to navigate entry and exit.
If you are feeling tired and looking for a place to rest this is a good safe place for you. It's always better to pull over when you need to taxed and to risk your safety and that of other drivers, I found this rest area to be centrally located and a good spot for a quick pull over.
This rest stop facilities are clean, but the vendors inside close early. Would be great if they would stay open until at least midnight.
Has nice bathrooms, sufficient amount of vending machines, has a ton of booklets and nice photos
I really loved this rest area! I'm from New Hampshire and our rest areas only have bathrooms and a little bit of information. This one had so much more! The bathrooms were really clean considering. There was so much available for food and drink that the people I was traveling with sat down and had a meal. It was a great place to take a break and refresh ourselves for the long journey. There were plenty of people working there that we felt safe. I was even able to pick up cough drops and Tylenol. There was handicap parking and the parking lot was well taken care of.
One and only rest stop on the Northway. Clean facilities. Abundant travel information.
Correction: There is also a rest stop in the Glens Falls area just north of the Hudson. Similar amenities with shady wooded grounds, picnic tables, etc.
A well maintained rest area with separate parking for trucks and large vehicles, handicap accessible parking, handicap accessible restrooms, a small unenclosed dog area, moderately priced vending machines, dozens of informational pamphlets, a state trooper office, a pay phone, and a 9/11 memorial. There is no WiFi.
Very nice spot. I spent a night here. But I was worrying about a DOT to knock my door and put me on inspection. The weight station is in the rest area
