Clockwork Jiu Jitsu, New York NY

Dropped in from out of town for a day. The instructors were helpful and classmates were friendly. I'd highly recommend this gym.

This place is great. It's cleaner than any BJJ place I've ever been to. The instruction is great. Everyone is either nice or at worst neutral, no problems with anyone so far. The other students who had been there longer were also super helpful as well as the head instructor. The workout is intense as hell, but that's jujitsu.it's hardcore. I also should mention that I bought a gi months before coming here in preparation but I don't think it's even necessary, I'm pretty sure they give out gi's for the class if you don't have one which is great.

Hey Everyone, came to this gym yesterday. I was invited from my friend. The gym is large, has a locker rooms, showers. The instructors / owners Josh, Russell are friendly, warm. Students at clockwork are helpful to make sure you learn the technique right. If you want to learn Jiu Jitsu in Lower Manhattan this the gym. The prices are affordable compared to other Jiu Jitsu gym throughout the city.

You would be hard pressed to find another Jiu Jitsu school where the instructors provide you with the targeted and personalized instruction that they offer the Clockwork Jiu Jitsu.

With the teaching style they employ, somehow it makes the group class feel as if it is a one on one lesson.

If you are serious about your BJJ practice, this is the only school in New York you should even consider.

Rolled here on Friday.really great group of people from top to bottom. Everyone I worked with had very kind words and solid advice for me (I'm a white belt). Also, the gym was very clean. If you're looking for a place to train in the city, look no further. This is your spot.

I'm a 40-year old guy, mildly athletic. I've been training at Clockwork for 9 months now. I love the positive atmosphere, wholistic instruction, and comraderie among students of all ranks. I wish I'd found Clockwork years ago!
