Club Room at Soho Grand, New York NY

I went out this past weekend with my girlfriends and the bar tender was super rude and slow. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes before getting a drink and he cut me off before I can even get a drink. I was not drunk or anything of the sort I spoke with a manager named Matt he was exceptionally rude and discriminatory no way a professional in hospitality would act. I wish I could have recorded the conversation because he was superbly disrespectful and did not embody the supreme customer service that’s at the Soho grand hotel and club rooms like I have experienced before I have told many of my friends and family and people at my firm not to go to the Soho grand because of Matt’s disgusting behavior, and I hope that my NYU cohorts and colleagues do not support this business anymore. As long as Matt is a manager, he is terrible for business.

Bartender was super rude and inattentive Matt the manager just clarified as the poor service and rude behavior of leadership there. Other people at the hotel however, we’re super empathetic. Matt does not deserve to work with such nice people.

$40+ for a lobster mac and cheese and they didn't have the decency to NOT serve a fishy stinky lobster. Take a look at the disease that was served to me on a plate.
Shame on them!

I went to the club room again with some friends last weekend and it was definitely a vibe. I highly recommend the spot for a night out, went for a birthday and bottle prices offered at the entrance are reasonable, also pretty well curated crowd by the guy at the door Jonathan, was pretty cool and chill with us. Cool place, good music great vibe.

In a city with a myriad of options to go out the club room at Soho Grand is definitely one of the best places! From the service to the ambiance, I would highly recommend it to anyone especially if you’re visiting from out of town. We arrived and were graciously greeted by the doorman. We were in a large group and he took great care of us. He offered us a very fair deal for a table for the large size group that we were. We were all pleasantly surprised with how polite the doorman was when addressing us which made our experience even better, and as a plus, he is also very handsome. The ambiance inside the club room was great, with a very well-curated vibe! Overall a great experience! We will be going back soon!

I went to the clubroom last Saturday night for the party. I was greeted by Elizabeth who helped showed me to my table. She was kind and courteous and really made the experience memorable. Great music, good service, and a cool crowd. 10/10! Will come back again, thank you Elizabeth!

I recently started coming back to the club room due to the new vip host Elizabeth. She always makes sure we have the best time and takes awesome care of our group, but recently have noticed the music hasn’t been great otherwise a great venue and always fun!

Very cool lounge. Great live jazz and atmosphere to match. Wonderful service with yummy snacks and good drinks.

Delicious food in a genteel quiet setting. Highly recommend. We didn't get the live piano, sadly. We had the kale parmesan salad, heirloom winter squash soup, grilled halibut (one of the best renditions I have ever had) and crab fettuccine. We finished off with a classic New York cheesecake. All were absolutely delicious.

The menu was so deep we ordered the lobster Mac & cheese and lobster grilled cheese to go. Highly recommend!

Unhappy by the way Jennifer treat me and my group. Jennifer was rude and she lied to bouncers, she is not professional if you don’t like or know how to maintain the work in crowd. Don’t do it just don’t spoil anyone’s night… Jennifer was literally like I own this place, I can lie and I can kick you guys out without any fault.

1 star because of that Misbehavior from JENNIFER.

So the club room is good and the music was good, I was there yesterday, Friday night with my friend and sister, A girl name Jennifer, she was rude, when many people started to come for dance she asked to move us towards dance floor, and while we were there she literally put hand on my left hand side and asked me to mover and I was yea I m moving but the way she said that was really disappointing from a club like this…

And I said I am moving don’t touch me and she said you have problem? I said yes I am moving out from your way just say nicely or excuse me. I felt very rude again when she came back and said wait I will show what I can do, she called bouncer innn and said I miss behaved with her that’s the false accusation…

Even bouncer came and he agreed but she told him to let us leave the floor this all happened between 1: 00-: 2: 00 o’clock.

The Clubroom was recommended by concierge at the sister hotel where we were staying, for post dinner lounge and music. Great atmosphere and accommodating staff for reservations and upon arrival.

Unfortunately we were overcharged relative to a pre-arranged minimum whereas Daniel and staff unwilling to do the right thing and fix the overcharge on our credit card. Very disappointed and cannot recommend.
