Of course my review got deleted. Despicable fish fry was as big as my palm where I'm from they would've gave us 4 to equal 1 of your cheap chicken scratch have more consistency and go ahead bann me idc your food sucks your bar sucks and you just suck as a owner to handle things the way you do! Go back to nowhere and the rock you crawled out of learn how to cook a meal and not load it with cheap French frys to save a budget good day sir. Trust me I will not tell anyone to order from your place again. You should and better have consistency of you Wana keep your business running. Even the craw fish bites got less and less. Smh dumb

Amazing place. It’s somewhat hidden behind some bars, but it’s location along the canal makes for some breathtaking views. The food is amazing. Service is amazing. Other than that, I’m speechless.

Well. The food, that they had was good, for the most part. All they had was chicken and collard greens. Lemonade was weak. A little bit pricey for lunch. Cost $20. Felt bad for the bar keep. No food to offer, said the boss was out shopping. Sure. Might try again.

Trash owner made my challenged brother pay to use the bathroom made him give him $5 to use the toilet paper. My brother bought a few sodas there and the owner told him to get the F out of his restaurant! Taking advantage of a challenged individual is disgusting and making him pay for toilet paper is ridiculous! I've seen other BAD reviews about this trash place and the way he treats customers. I give it less then a yrs and it will be out of business. There are other restaurants in the area steer clear of this place!

Food was definitely on point. Crawfish bites were amazing and there was no type of shortage on the food. Chicken sandwich was huge and had enough fries for two people. All in all it was amazing. Will definitely be returning for more.

Ordered food for delivery and took 4 different drivers showing up there for them to finally cancel the order because they were "out of something I ordered". All I ordered was chicken tenders.

I was in the area so I decided to give it a try. I saw the reviews were good for food but not so much on customer service.
I placed an order for pickup. Crayfish bites, which they were out of so I went with a chicken Sammy and Mac n cheese. The girl that answered seemed to be eating on the phone. I arrived and the man behind the counter (the cook) said he didn't have any orders. The girl comes out and is still eating. I say I placed the order with you miss and she denies it. Ok, clearly you forgot to put it in but don't lie to cover it up. The man said he would make it now but I was in a rush and didn't want to wait again. Horrible.

Cannot recommend. I had chicken wings, and they were physically inedible. Hard texture and taste wasn't palatable at all probably due to the 2 spices I chose. I thought the "sauce" would either come on the side or be split because the online ordering layout was weird, but they combined them and cooked them into the wings creating an unpleasant combination. Also, a bit annoying when you think you're ordering ten wings to share them but instead you get 5 whole wings.

Love the food. Regular customer. Best post golf meal is a chicken sandwich and fries from cluck!

Excellent food. Reminds me of some of my favorite spots from when I lived down south for 13 years.

Great tasting customer care foods. Chicken chicken checked — every way you could possibly want. Top shelf drinks — servrs the best bottled root beer in the state. Fun and festive inside atmosphere and fantastic canal side seating in a calm and quiet section of the canal trail adjacent to busy Fairport. Beautiful dark side or tree canopy trail walks for getting rid of that "It was so good ate too much! ” feeling. The regular sauces are quite good but their special blend of hot sauces are to die for — so hot they'll kill you, but what a way to go! Have a little more hot sauce and the punch will wake you from the dead so you can keep eating.

Annoying that they were out of Coca Cola, tartar sauce, collard greens, ribs and crawfish at 6pm on the Friday before Labor Day. The food we were able to order was good and had a slight kick to it. Service left a lot to be desired. Great space on the canal.

Didn't know this place existed for the longest time and probably because it's inside a bar in the village. Their chicken is so good. It's open late too. It's great "late night and I need to treat myself" food.

Update: This place has its own location now! Just past the parking lot of Riki's diner. Along the canal. Still amazing. Even better now actually.

Literally happened upon CIYB on a rainy Wednesday. Definitely needs signage closer to 250. Enchanting, Beautiful, & Restorative location on the canal. Restaurant ambiance is upbeat, quirky, & a bit noisy but inviting.

The gem was our cook, server, cashier, & conversationist AIDEN. Amazing “old soul” personality & quite organized. Aiden was the only employee working. He recommended the chicken sandwich & fries which we ordered. He also raved abt the house sauce & was on point—- excellent condiment. We shared the fries & loved the Cajun flavor.
A more than adventurous afternoon served up royally by a wise young leader coming on. Bravo.

Placed an order for pickup a few hours before close. Got there at the recommend pickup time and was told by the staff that they couldn't give me my order and something about a phone call. I had not placed an order over the phone. I asked what the issue with the order was (if payment was missing or something I would have just payed for it on person), but instead was given no information. I looked to see what customer support options I had and it is to call the store, which at this point wouldn't provide me any information. Guess I ended up paying for nothing in the end. The food might be good but I have no idea, your mileage may vary I suppose.

The atmosphere was awesome, I love the nostalgia of the video games and the ambiance of the country chicken shack feel. The food was good, the mac and cheese was different from a southern Mac featuring a garlic and peppercorn flare. The fish was good with a seasoned exterior like a flavor dust that was pleasant and new. Greens feature a smoky flavor without the presence of smoked meat which is great for those who may not eat meat. Chicken wings were huge and fried to perfection! The shrimp served as an appetizers should have been an entrée for the size and 5 to an order left no room or desire for anything else! Did I mention the BBQ shrimp with bacon wraolp were amazing

I have never in my life had worse food. The place is a complete wasp infested dump to boot. If they changed the fryer oil this month I'd be shocked.

Tucked away behind Main St, is a jewel.
Great chicken sandwich and fries sitting under trees up against the canal in view of the bridge. Couldn't get more Fairport than that.

I visited today for the first time. It was a cute little restaurant situated nicely on the Canal. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The seating is rather limited as the place itself is rather small. The food was delicious! I had the Fried Pickles, Chicken Sammich, and Fried Cheesecake.who knew Fried Cheesecake existed or that it tastes that yummy! I will be back with more friends!

Awesome little place. Definitely not flashy but when you are looking for good smoked wings, this place has got them. Small bar inside with bathrooms, which is kept very clean.
