Clutch Physical Therapy reviews
6I visited Ray last summer for achilles tendinitis. I was in fear I wouldn’t be able to run without experiencing pain in my ankle. A year later and I’m back to running 4-5 days a week with no pain in my ankle. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without Ray and his sessions. Thank you Ray!
I wondered if an out-of-network provider was any better than an in-network-provider. What did I find? Ray Delacruz at Clutch Physical Therapy is a star and worth every penny plus the extra time it took me to travel to him. Ray's "functional approach" prepared me to return to all the activities I love. Don't make a mistake and think physical therapy is a commodity, it isn't. Go see Ray and the team at Clutch Physical Therapy and you will be thankful you did!
I worked with Ray at Clutch Physical Therapy and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and he came up with a plan that lead me to recovery. I particularly liked that he worked with me 1: 1 during my full session, unlike some other PT places where I was left on my own to do exercises during my session. I highly recommend Ray and Clutch Physical Therapy.
I can't recommend Clutch PT enough. I worked with Ray for five months. I came in for lingering achilles issues that a PT from another practice wasn't able to rectify. Within a few sessions I saw marked improvement. Ray helped pinpoint the issue and addressed my achilles as well as some hip tightness that was exacerbating the issue. Ray was great about sending all the exercises we went over via email or recording them so I could refer to them when working on my own which was really helpful. I just completed my first half since my injury and I wouldn't have gotten to the start line without the help of Ray and Clutch PT.
I have had a fantastic experience with Clutch Physical Therapy and with Ray in particular. Most recently I was dealing with neck and shoulder pain that was preventing me from playing tennis. Ray was able to address the problem and teach me proper exercises to strengthen the area. I have been able to get back out on the tennis court and play pain-free. I also worked with Ray on a previous occasion after dealing with a long stretch of foot pain following a stress fracture. Ray helped to address the issue and retrain my gait to prevent future problems. Ray is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. I highly recommend Ray and Clutch PT to anyone.
I’m a 36 year old ex-athlete (still very active) and I’ve had right knee soreness for 2+ years now and even rest didn’t seem to fully solve the problem, so I selected Ray/Clutch because of its location and his strong patient reviews. This was my first time doing PT in NYC so wasn’t sure what to expect, but Ray made the experience a breeze! He was extremely pleasant and professional from the start and after just my first few sessions I noticed BIG improvements. Prior to working with Ray I could barely get through a mile jog without experiencing shooting knee pains, but after 4-5 sessions I was running 2-3 miles again with little to no pain. I even called him up two days before my big golf trip to see if he could help me with some lower back pain that had randomly flared up… without hesitation he found a way to squeeze me in for a quick session and got my back feeling exponentially better. Ray is a first class physician and person!
