Great service - doc's and nurses very willing to spend time with you and otherwise go the extra mile

I don’t want to get into details, but after going for over 20 years I’m never going back. Dr. Malvisi’s office, you know what you did today.

A long-time patient of CNY Family and I've seen some changes, both good and bad over the years.

Things I've loved about my provider included evening appointments and occasional weekend appointments. Very flexible with scheduling and usually can get you seen for acute needs pretty quickly. I've never struggled getting an infection addressed right away.

Using the portal is usually easy to get your needs met if they include medication refills, lab results, questions or concerns. Sometimes the turn around on answering you can take days or, recently, even weeks so for urgent needs I recommend calling.

On-call has always been prompt and compassionate.

They have grown in size and you can see the outcomes of providers being a little over booked. They don't have a whole lot of patience for questions or dealing with chronic things beyond the straightforward. Wait times have increased but aren't abnormal or agregious. Recently I waited about a half hour before being brought back to the exam room and then I was seen right away by providers.

My provider has always been willing to listen to me and address my needs. She was the first to ever send me to specialists for ongoing and chronic things I had going on. I feel that the care has grown a little less person centered over the years which might have to do with the number of patients they see. Covid has also caused delays.

I am changing providers now not due to disliking my care or problems at the clinic, just looking for care closer to my home because it's been hard for me to follow-up due to the drive. But for many years I drove from out of town to be seen at CNY Family because they were always good to me! I recommend them if you're local and looking for a family care practice for basic Healthcare and primary care needs.

This place is not accepting patients. Terrible receptionist. So eager and rude to get off the phone.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mincolla and his team. He is the most caring, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. Highly recommend!

Dr. Augustine was my primary for almost 20 yrs. They just dropped me as a client because I didn't want to come in for a follow up visit for something that has completely disappeared for over a year now. When I called to ask why, I was told its because I didn't follow Augustines recommendation and they called me a bunch of times, like they are a damn collection agency. If I HAD gone back for my follow up they would have charged me another $500 for a bunch of tests that didn't show anything the first time.ridiculous

I have been a patient since they opened and always received great service. I love Dr. Picciano and the practice, but lately it seems that I get a lot of lip service and no answers when I call for test results. When I've called I get told someone will call you back, but they dont.hoping this is just a glitch and not a trend.

I have been going to Dr Anthony Malvasi for just over a year. He and his staff listen and are extremely thorough. They ate5kind and very compassionate to my needs. I have seen other Drs such as Dr Michael Fiacco and nurse fractions. Everyone has shown me great respect, kindness, and extremely helpful! They are always available and try to get you in ASAP.

Called yesterday 25 min on hold, told 5 months before I can schedule a physical appt. 6 weeks before I can get a regular appt. Yet they are the ones sending me letters for not being there.

Thank you Doctor Aliwalas for my great appointment today. Thank you for listening to me and understanding my feelings. Thank you for explaining everything to me that I would understand (not using Doctors terms).

This practice has wonderful doctors.however the practice and it’s ceo do not take hippa violations seriously and will dismiss your right to privacy for a slap on the wrist.

This practice will drop you like a hot potato if you disagree with the doctor's plan of treatment for you or you are unhappy with the service you receive from the nursing staff. They will also refuse to allow you to change to another doctor within the practice.

I used to love this hospital but lately care has gotten worse. When I went to see my doctor Karen Beckman, she was out of office for two weeks. Since she was not in office i had to see another doctor, and they only gave first priority to their patients. I waited for more than an hour and they still didn't call me. They called all other patients who came after me, I was the only one sitting in the waiting room, I was on time to my appointment. Finally I cancelled my appointment after waiting for so long.

Betsy is the best. She never gives you the feeling of being rushed and answers all questions that you may have.

I’ve received exceptional & attentive care here from individuals who give their all, and make incredible personal sacrifices to serve us. It takes a large amount of stress off of me knowing they have my back. Coming from Utica, some of you may understand just how valuable these professionals are.

I’ve never minded waiting as I never know what is going on with the patients before me. What started out as a visit for fatigue could turn into a medical emergency. That being said the wait time has been more than acceptable. Considering the shortage of staff that everyone is experiencing that in and of itself is more than impressive.

The fact that you make yourselves available to us in the evenings, and on weekends is a tremendous help to those of us who work traditional schedules.

Please know that you are all, each of you, spectacular & brilliant individuals. I see your hard work, and dedication to the profession & community. From my heart…Thank You!

They violate hippa laws and the nurses like to spread info and be secretive, long story short not a good practice.

I have been seeing the same primary care physician for close to 30 years and he is awesome! My problem is I can never seem to get an appointment. They don’t want to see you if you are sick. While I understand that there are risks involved with COVID-19 we are wearing masks, being vaccinated, home testing is available… With all of these safeguards in place I don’t understand why they are unwilling to see sick patients, even when they have tested negative for Covid within the last week. There was a time when someone from my care team would call me and insist that I go in to be seen because they were worried about the symptoms I was having or a test result. They used to say that they have extended and weekend hours to keep their patients out of the urgent care, but now I guess urgent care IS my primary care physician ‍️

Would not recommend this practice. They are to big of a practice. Trying to get in to see a doctor is difficult, you feel like you are being rushed out the door, and I’ve misdiagnosed twice already, not a safe place.

I never write reviews unless I have something positive to say because I understand anyone can say anything online these days. I faxed in a 1 page document of a health clearance form that need a check box and a signature of my primary care physician. I called in 3 times to check the status and was informed they have the form and will forward to physician. 2 weeks later I received a call saying they cannot find the document and asked me to fax it in again!
