Co-op City Greenway reviews
11My family lives in Coop City and I love the neighborhood! I love the park like atmosphere and the apartments!
I went to visit a friend and co-op City Greenway.i went to the supermarket I walked around it was beautiful I love the trees. I sat down in the greenway and it was nice I really enjoyed myself.they have a little more there which I win to the Dollar tree. And they have a big mall which I went there and I had a beautiful day just walking around and looking at those beautiful tree in co-op City that turns colors like a ruby color I really enjoy co-op City.
If you have a love of line dancing as I have then the green way 3x's a week is the place to be.
Great place to ride bikes, take walks, or simply sit on the bench and relax. A lovely escape into a little piece of nature in a city.
Went for paper shredding event. Location was hard to find. Line moved quickly and helpers were helpful.
The North East Educational Park or (Co-Op City Green way) Section four is a beautiful park and walkway with benches and two workout stations. The park is filled with trees, different species of chirping birds, plants and squirrels. The walkway is just shy of being a mile in circumference. Come out and enjoy!
Love it. Doing Line Dance on the Greenway in Co-op City. I had a good work out. Beginner class Every Tuesday from 4: 00 - 5: 30 pm. Section 1 Stage
Great for riding your bike and jogging! So peaceful so beautiful! Also beautiful at night time.
Normally I would rate the Greenway a 5 because it was a beautiful area where residents could get good exercise. They have 2 little workout areas with equipment that could be used. It was a relief to have some where to go where you can get fresh air and practice social distancing at the same time.
However for the past 8 months there's been an unsightly fence (due to construction) obstructing the bike/jog path. There's other shorter routes that can be taken to exercise but it would still be nice to have the longer jogging/biking route available.
Once they remove the fence I can see it going back to a 5 star rating.
I run that Greenway 3 to 4 times a week. I love it! Great atmosphere with the exception of some individuals sitting on the benches smoking weed. I wish they would dissappear Permanently. Other than that, it's a great place to get a good workout.
