10I absolutely love this company been working for coast coming up on 3 years I've worked several contracts and all of the managers are super helpful and understanding I've never had that in any job this far so this is a big plus for me the pay is good you can climb the later and make a career here we are one big family hoping to climb the later and get promoted some day I enjoy working from home every one is professional and if you need help are always willing to help it's has its good days and bad days but what job doesn't this job is not for the week you have to be on your ps and qs go with the flow and you'll do great my company rocks
Most disorganized company I’ve ever worked for. I waited a whole month for my background check. They told me it would take two weeks. Gave me a tentative start date of October 17th. Mind you I had a job interview on September 27th. I was given paperwork giving them authorization to do the background check which was given back that same day. I waited and waited then I called October 14th asking what time I should report to the office. I was told to hold off because my background check wasn’t in. I gave them another two weeks and then took it into my own hands and I called the company they went through for my background check on October 25th I believe it was and that very same day Coast calls me and tells me oh you can start October 31st be at office at 8 that is all I was told. I am driving over 45 minutes to work mind you. I get to the office ready to work and learn and the manager there didn’t even know I was coming or who I was. The lack of communication and organization this company has is absolutely ridiculous! I didn’t get any sort of payroll paperwork or tax forms. They were more worried about getting my Social Security Card. I was willing to blame the delay of my background check on the company coast went through. However, I believe it was due to coast professionals lack of communication and obvious disorganization! Very disappointed in this company. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
This company is extremely unprofessional. It is amazing that record your calls but turn around and refuse to give you any information pertaining to your account. Even when you authorized someone else to speak on your behave. When asking a question they give you half answer and will not give you a conformation stating you made a payment with the company. This is a terrible company and extremely rude as well. Everybody has their own opinion but this is far the worst people I every in my life have ran across and they just lies for no apparent reasons. They are the kind of people like to hear themselves talking so they can brag on how they sound telling all of those lies.
This is fraud. Got a collection notice from Coast stating I owe the IRS $3000 from 2013. Found it shocking considering I always pay timely and never notices prior to now. Called in, "stated the IRS has not uploaded their records to Coastal yet". Reply: How are you notifying me of delinquency you do NOT even have yet? Click, dial tone! FRAUD!
Quite possibly the shadiest company I have ever dealt with. I have been out of default, I have been paying student loans with them monthly. When I called, I was explained that I am in good standing and I wouldn’t have to worry about defaulting and having taxes seized. But it seems like they conveniently “misplace” my paperwork so they can report I’m in default and pay themselves. I have even sent MULTIPLE copies of paperwork to make sure that this won’t happen, but somehow, a month later, I’m still sent the same paperwork to fill out. Shady or incompetent, I’m not sure. Nothing professional about Coast Professional.
Asked for proof that I owe and they refuse to send a bill in the mail calling about student loans that have been paid for over a year now
Not an ideal place of employment. 10/10 would not recommend. Very unprofessional and rude.
I have sent everything they needed to get me out of default 5 times now, Each time something was wrong with what I sent them but they didn't call or tell me as they got the documents while I was on the phone with them so I could change things and continue the process. Eachtime I had to correct something I had to start the process of paying the monthly payments over again. I have now paid the 4 of the 5 monthly payments and started this process last year so I would prevent the department of education from taking my tax refund. Got a letter today saying they did just that. Terrible way to help people. The whole purpose of this is to collect the money needed to get out of default. Just a terrible company to deal with and the people that work here act like they have no idea what they are doing so they can continue to take the money. Get it together people!
Called in to make a payment, and the phone is out order, call a different number, transfered to a busy time. Called another number, and system is down. Hold times and call times up to 90 minutes! Every time your on hold it's at least 10 minutes. Will not send you anything on how to dispute or fight back, either pay up or lose 70% of your wages. Staff is decent for the most part.
The worst "customer service" I have ever received. I have been trying since 12/4 to ensure NO wage garnishment on 12/18. Each time it is a call that is 1-2 hours of me explaining everything on my file to everyone I'm passed around to. The most manic hold music I have ever heard, managers not answering questions and just sticking to their scripts with no direct information on when my information will be reviewed. If I could give zero stars I would, from start to finish this has been a nightmare and I'm convinced they will still reach out to my employer to garnish wages despite me doing all this work, following each request they throw my way and doing it all before their deadline. I work in customer service and would NEVER treat people this way.
