Cohen Children's Northwell Health-GoHealth Pediatric Urgent Care, Hewlett NY

I brought my 16 month old with a low fever to be seen with concerns of a UTI. We spend hours there, finally after we got the babies urine using the sterile urine bag, Dr. Kristine Stasiuk refused to send it out to the lab unless we retook the urine by urethral catheterization. This made no sense to me since the baby did not have crazy high fever, why we would have to take that route and put the baby through getting catheterized for no apparent reason. I told her that my pediatrician will repeat these exact steps the following day and send out her urine from the sterile urine bag, and she said he can do that. I spend the entire next day taking her to the pediatrician and waiting for the baby to pee in the bag so it can be send out to the lab. I’m very disappointed with Dr. Kristine Stasiuk and her refusal to send my babies test out to the lab. She seemed very unknowledgeable because I had my pediatric physician as well as the infectious disease specialist that I saw today ask me how it could be possible that she didn’t send the result to the lab - they were very confused. They both told me to avoid returning to a urgent care like this. Very disappointed

Not a good experience at all. I was reading through the negative comments and I agree with a majority of them. This place has a bunch of rude people working there and they’re suppose to be helping kids? In addition, I have billing issues whenever I come to this place. You ask to speak to a supv and allegedly there’s never one around. Just avoid headaches and go somewhere else. There’s many other places to chose from.

Very attentive, patient, professional and informative to my 9 year old. They explained everything they were doing to make her feel more comfortable. This was our first time here, and this is our new place when we can’t get to her primary Pediatrician.

Everyone was very welcoming and caring. They made my daughter feel comfortable and provided excellent care. It was also really convenient because it was easy to get a quick appointment and it's located in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking.

The staff super friendly and awesome with my children. One of my kids is autistic and the level of professionalism and understanding is amazing. Thank you

Samantha was the best, she was so patient with my son who didn't want to take his medicine. I can't thank her enough. You can honestly tell that she loves her job by the care she puts into her patients.

My 4 year old was treated with such care and the staff made her feel comfortable and put her at ease. The Dr on duty was amazing. This place definitely cares about children.

Misdiagnosed my 4 month year old son. I insisted he had chicken pox but they said it's a fungal infection and eczema combined. The blisters spread all over his body and I took him to his pediatrician and he has chicken pox. Never using a Go Health facility again. Go Health should be renamed NO HELP.

Awesome facility! Making an appointment was easy and we skipped a long wait. The pediatrician here was so caring and professional, I felt like I knew her. This is now my new go to place for ped urgent care

You have a very misleading sign on your door stating covid testing however it doesn’t specify if it’s only for child, I was there on Sunday with my husband we spoke to a lady at the front desk who clearly doesn’t have empathy for humans in general, she keep saying oh it’s only for pediatric patients. But what’s up with your sign? We explained to her I was pregnant and she keep saying mixed answers like yes we do covid test but for pediatrics only. Please have a less misleading sign on your door! And better staff with empathy what wrong with this world and the medical field!

This center is supposed to be for children. The nurse was Kurt, unfriendly and scared the living daylights out of my child who has anxiety. In addition was very rough while trying to get a swab for a throat culture. Please learn to explain what you are doing. When you do a pulse ox explain why you are doing it etc, my child through there was something majorly wrong with her because of all the vitals taken. Also when giving worse case scenarios maybe just tell the parent in private what to look out for, my child didn’t sleep all night because of the worse case scenarios over an ear infection. You are working with children please act like it!

This should not be called and urgent care, I took my son with fever and I stood in the line for good 10 minutes. While all staff were minding their business. To later asked me if I had an appointment. I said no and they said they were not accepting no walk ins and no appointments until Wednesday.

Terrible Service! When i went to this place i had a fever and wanted to get checked. They told me to take appointments virtually because they are “full”. The doors were open and yet they told me to take appointments virtually or come back Tomorrow.

I booked appointment.there was traffic and I called over 4/5 times no answer and now I have to wait an hour for someone to see my Dr. Since covid care has gone down and this is a prime example of that and terrible customer service at front desk I just hope no one becomes sick like my child or anyone else's child who has been seen at this facility today. Customer service comes with the job. I was disrespected and disregarded about the care of my daughter.

On 9-27-2021 visited this location with my children for a Covid test.it was such a horrible experience, the lady working the check in counter should be fired.she gave very confusing and mixed up information and became visibly upset when multiple patients ask questions to clarify. Her attitude clearly said she didn't want to be there.one fellow patient complained that prior to arriving at the facility, she had hung up the phone on her and refused to answer her questions. I assume the patient care doesn't include customer service.

My children are very bad with vaccines. I am in health care myself hands down best experience foe my children they took us in right away for flu vaccines and the physician plus pca made my kids laugh and feel super comfortable. The facility was very clean. My son said best urgent visit experience ever and he is quite critical.

Horrible customer service. Horrible communications. Definetly one of the lesser quality care offices for Pediatrics. Three other place locally much better. If you plan on Walking in to this location, don't. Appointments have precedents and there is no accommodation. I waited over 90 mins for a walk-in. I would have been better off going to PM Pediatrics in RVC, which gave me an appointment an hour later.

We are all busy these days, but this is ridiculous.

Been taking my kids here for years and every time it was a great experience.until today! Never have I felt more uncomfortable by a medical professional, rude, obnoxious and plan old mean is the only way I can describe the way my self and my Daighter where spoken too!

I went there with my 2 year old child and got turned down. The lady in the front was discouraging all patients walking in saying “the wait is 4 hours because the people with appointments come first”. I stated that this was an urgent care so i came without an appointment and she said I could not wait there. She also advised the people in front of me to leave while i sat there watching the parents hold their child with fever trying to get an answer as to when they could be seen. I will never take my child here again. If you need to take your child to a pediatric urgent care that will actually see you without an app (whole point of urgi care) please take them to PM pediatrics in Rockville centre. Extremely poor service.

The worst experience i ever had! Front desk people with horrible personality, not professionals at all, go the one on manhasset! Don’t even try this place.
