4An unpleasant visit with the dock-master. They are currently signed up on the HRBYCA and on the card it says that we have privileges but when speaking with him, he said that wasn’t the case and we needed to pay. We paid but with the not good start, we left immediately and Cold Spring lost our business.
It’s got some guest dock spots for transients, but you can’t park if you’re over 31 feet. Couple of boards need replacing on the dock. Good access to dining and the park on the river. Guest boaters must sign in.
Docks were a little rough but the people were friendly and the town is beautiful.
Real nice boat club on the Hudson without the occasional authoritarian signs I have seen in some marinas. It is easy to dock here and to grab a bite in town. The location is perfect. The people are friendly.
I wish more marinas would be so polite. I had a memorable time here! Thank you!
