Irish Pub Cole's reviews
17Pet’s friendly place. Personal is super friendly. Highly recommended for families with fur babies.
The food was delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was wonderful, (we sat outside). The menu wasn't incredibly extensive but they had all the favorite standards. We stopped after the garden walk for an early Sunday dinner and it was the perfect ending to a lovely afternoon.
Food was great. Service lacking. Greeted and seated quickly. Host was friendly and efficient. Waitress Meghan initially very good. Let me know my dish had an ingredient not listed. Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. Food brought to table quickly and exactly as ordered. Dining companion told me burger was "one of the best". Lives up to it's good reputation. A few minutes later Meghan checks up. Yep. All is great. Then, Meghan just disappeared. No soda refill. No plate clearing. Had to find her to pay the check. I guess flirting with kitchen staff is more important.
I’m from another state, my ID is obviously different. After going through a security guard with a bullet proof vest, I was singled out for an interview with the bartender. Name, address, the works. Though with my explanations and proof, the bartender made up his mind with out giving me a proper excuse. Now I understand I look young, but I did not have to go through an intense interrogation to not even receive an answer.
The security guard made it worse, blocking off my friends with a “big boss” attitude. Thanks for the excitement of the night, I guess?
Real treat after 2 yrs of county executive barbaric monocle plan to lock us up & kill America
Amazing wings (great Buffalo food in general), cool staff, fun atmosphere. Never had a bad meal or a bad time here.
Great restaurant in the Elmwood Village area. There was no wait for a table-group of 9 on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was great, took our orders & before we knew it, our food was being served. Everyone enjoyed their meals! We will def go back when we are in Buffalo!
We had a birthday party up on the third floor. The room was quite big with a separate little bar. We had fabulous food. Great salad awesome chicken wings roast beef cooked to perfection and pasta with ricotta on top outstanding. Their help was fantastic friendly polite right on top of everything.
Cole's is a longstanding powerhouse of the Buffalo bar scene. It's an absolute gem with great food and an outstanding bar.
The wings, burgers and fries are top knotch.
Lunch, dinner or day drinking Cole's is a great choice for any occasion!
If you could ask for a better experience, it'd be quite impossible. Staff was very kind & helpful, while the food was utterly outrageous. Bar was full, for good reason. Had to roll me out of there I couldn't stop eating. Would especially reccomend any cider they have, & the hot banana pepper dip. Absolute symphony in your mouth. I'll be back, probably more than once. Cole's is doin it right.
Cole's is one of our favorite places. The food is always good, and the service is excellent.
Great food and service. We weren't even by the door though and it was FREEZING cold inside.
Great old school tavern. Fun pub. Danny the bartender is a skilled and pleasant character.
Great food and service all around. The fish fry was very good although the batter had a bit of spice to it. I also had french onion soup which was also quite good.
Staff was rude, food was cold, service was slow, beer was flat, and kinda smelled in there. Will not visit again.
Went to Coles on New Year's Eve 2021 with 12 people and were tuned away because we needed vaccine passports.
