Collegetown Terrace Apartments, Ithaca NY

Spent two of three years in Ithaca at this place. It is the most value that you can get for your buck in Ithaca. Very conveniently located between Collegetown and Downtown.

The shuttle to campus was a blessing especially during cold winters and summer showers.

Rents are not the cheapest but these are well-maintained homes with on-site management and it is still very decently priced as compared to unfurnished spaces from downtown.

So I just moved in a few days ago and my apartment was perfect! Everything was super clean and brand new. I had a little issue with the shared kitchen, it was not super clean so I messaged them after hours about it and by the morning the kitchen was perfect. I have only came across really helpful and nice people so far and they all seem like they are ready to help out. The shuttle has been awesome so far and is super convenient. The reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is because of how thin the walls are. I can here everything!

Great for college apartment living. Strongly recommend for MBAs and Law Students. Apartments are spacious and come with everything you need. Management was fantastic and friendly - always went out of their way to help me. Pricing is not great for what you get, but that has more to do with Ithaca student housing market having high rent than CTT overcharging.

The management here is obnoxious. Whenever you ask about a question, they always “ not sure” about anything and being very unhelpful. Should not rent here.

Some staffs in the office were extremely rude and treated their tenants like trash. No sense of professionalism but sabotaged other nice staff's' reputations. Really hope those rude people get retrained. If they really don't like the job, please quit and don't harm their colleagues' relationships with current or future tenants.

Worst apartment. The mail room is unsafe and many packages are lost, and the office did not help you with any issues. Do not see any apartments at here. AVOID HERE.

Highly recommend no one ever live here. Apartments are low quality and walls are PAPER thin. I've lived in small apartments above busy streets in the past, but the lack of sound insulation means you can hear people upstairs, next door, and even across the hall. The "bus system" is absolute trash and will often leave you standing room only for a journey filled with sharp turns. Even the washer and dryer (in unit) are ineffective and sound like a jet engine taking off. My microwave had pieces/vents falling off 2 months into my lease. And any time any one in the building flushes their toilet / takes a shower, you will for sure know from the rushing off pipes. Management is extremely unresponsive, and requests I've followed up on multiple times have not been taking care of. The "furniture" they provide came marked up and scratched and has an overall cheap and plastic feel. To top it all off, I'm paying an insane amount to rent this glorified dorm. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Great place to live, convenient, clean, maintained well. The property manager is professional and definitely cares about the residents here.been here for two years and I have no complaints.
