Colonial Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center reviews
9 They don’t pay staff enough to lie about ratings. Just sayin.
I’d like to add I wasn’t trying to do the star thing. I have no issues w colonial
Park. I personally love them. I was saying they don’t pay or have people leave high reviews. That was an insane remark to someone who reviewed that.
I'm head of laundry, I truly love my job and love the residents here.i will go above and beyond for them.there needs to be some major changes as far as management but the people that I work with are truly awesome
I have been here for several weeks for rehabilitation. The therapy is good.however, other than that it has not been good. When I got here I wasl in an adult diaper and told I couldn't use bathroom on my own until I was evaluated by PT. That night I urinated about five times and when I buzzed for help they didn't show up for several hours and when they did i was chastised for not getting up and using facilities. That is just one experience I encountered. One more than one occasion while I was " asleep" I was referred to as lazy. While here if heard aides scream at, swear at, demean and threaten individuals here. The meals are hit or miss as to if it'll be warm when you get it. I witnessed one individual who is incontinent go 14, yes 14 HOURS without being changed. Another 10 hours without being changed there is so much more I could say but I won't. I would not recommend this place. On another note several staff members here suggested that I get a lawyer, what does that tell you
My grandfather and my cousin were both at Colonial Park, with great experiences. Grandpa loves his nursing team and the socialization he got by sharing a room. Everyone thinks a private room is the best but then you end up more alone. Having a roommate counts! My cousin was loved by all as she wandered the halls and loved her ice cream!
Love going to nursing home for their holiday events. Everyone is always happy and very friendly.
That’s because I’m being generous. The Rehab staff- most of them are the best. Staff bad moth the patients and make fun of them. One laundry in peticlar, she knows who she is, is the best and goes out of her way to help you. My concentrator I was using had a frayed cord, I told them when I first got there then it start piping circuit breakers. They have wandering patients and ignor them when they pull alarm or fire alarm. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there. They should really inspect this place, I was told the Grand bought it out, hope this isn’t repeated there?
My aunt was in this facility and said the Therapy team was the best and really helped her regain strength to walk and return home. We are thankful the Therapy team at Colonial and getting my aunt home again!
This is our second time having a loved one at this facility. The staff has always been very kind and worked hard to get our grandparents back home safely. I hope we don’t have a need for rehab in the future, but if we do Colonial Park will certainly be our first choice. Thank you again to all of the staff!
I reside out of state. Our family is estranged, however I am/was in contact with my mother until there was no contact and I could not figure out the reason. She got sick, lost her phone- I learned from one family member.and was placed here a week ago. I called the nursing because I was worried and wanted to find out what was going on with my mother as well as to ask when I can visit, their protocol for visitors due to covid restriction and what have you. When I gave them my mother's name they said, "We don't have anyone here by that name. " Lie. My daughter visited my mother in that nursing home. My other family members have visited as well. And the nursing home tells me, my mother is not there- what in God's name is going on there. And don't say Laws. Finally, I received pics of my mother in that place- horrible state she is in! Not to mention family members told me no one nurses were around to talk to about anything the entire time they were there. What is one to do?
