Ivy is super sweet & did a fantastic job on my dipped nails + tips! My natural nails are super brittle and I’ve been to other salons, back where I used to live, where they were borderline mean to me about them, and this salon was not like that at all! Everyone I interacted with there was super sweet and kind and I’ll be returning for my next nail appointment! Thank you Ivy again!

I was definitely thinking of coming here but the way this company is replying to they own Customers reviews are Insane, not apologetic at all Not even trying to fix the problem Definitely will Find another place to spend my money.

Went to see colorful nails today, for being someone who really dosent get there nails done very often, I have to say ivy is amazing she takes her time and extremely Focused on her work. It was very relaxing good music, clean and quite enjoyable. There prices are reasonable for the work they put into them. My nails look exactly like the picture! They didn't have the green that was in the photo but ivy rocked it and made them look even better! Definitely will be coming back.

I left ONE STAR bc of the customer service I received when i showed up. I know i didnt end up a customer so yes have a nice day to you too rude employees and weird manager! How professional is it to come to the comments and be obnoxious? I simply left a review i felt your business deserved!

Staff have always been kind and friendly, but the owner is a different story. I booked eyebrow waxing appointments for my partner and I, but a few hours before the appointment we had a personal emergency and could not make it. We left a voicemail explaining the situation and asked if we could reschedule. Later in the day we called again and left another voicemail, and texted the number that my appointment reminder came from. I didn't receive a call back. I called back the next day and the owner answered the phone. I told him that I called and left voicemails, and asked if we could reschedule because we had an emergency. He cut me off multiple times and said that they have a strict 24-hr cancellation policy. At that point I was extremely frustrated and just asked if we could reschedule he said they have time later in the week, and when I asked him if a specific time was available, he said “I will need to check my books and call you back”. It has been 24 hours since I last spoke to him and I still have not received a call back. At this point I don’t feel comfortable going back. I’m extremely disappointed by his lack of customer service skills and upset that I won’t be getting my money back from the deposit.

Had a nice pedicure done here a few weeks ago that was very reasonably priced. I was happy to go back for a full Acrylic set. I looked at the prices online before going. I arrived at my appointment, showed the technician what I wanted -simple and short, it did involve a design and a few different colors but nothing crazy- and she wanted to charge me $120. This did not reflect the prices online AT ALL. She then claimed that a full Acrylic set would be $55 plus another $55 for ANY design I got. (I got even more confused since that doesn’t even add up to $120). I left, having wasted my time and my money, since I forfeited my $20 online deposit.

A pretty decent experience for me at Colorful Nails. I would suggest taking a thorough look at their website to understand the specifics of the services they provide and how they are priced. Got an Acrylic full set done with tips and gel, costed me $55 + tip. They were very transparent about their prices and that's what I often look for, after the "quality" factor, of course. I wasn't too happy initially because I am pretty particular about things and wanted all my questions cleared before I got started, but Binh was unable to communicate appropriately and she called up the Manager I believe, who cleared it out for me. She wasn't rude or anything, but both of us were getting tired of being unable to understand what the other was saying. I did book my appointment with Binh online, but reached 20 minutes late so I got another tech, Marife, and she did not disappoint. She patiently answered all my questions/doubts and did my nails exactly like I asked her to. She even fixed a few that I wasn't happy with. Overall, happy with their services. Definitely recommend.

I just moved to the Albany area, and have been looking for a nail salon that makes me feel at home & of course does a great job. I was very nervous because I’m a very picky customer. From the second I walked in I felt very comfortable. Binh listen to everything I said and what I wanted. She did an amazing job & I’m beyond happy that I found this place!

Second time in 4 weeks that I've booked an appointment with one nail tech and ended up with someone else, that I did not want to do my nails. I showed up twice for an appointment only to be told that my nail texch wasn't there. Yet, when I booked online, I booked it with the correct tech. THEY CHANGE THEIR SCHEDULES WEEKLY. So it really doesn't matter if you book in advance, because you'll be given whomever happens to be there.we are all busy, and when I book time in advance, I expect the service to be rendered by the tech that I BOOKED WITH.

Ivy was wonderful! I had a full set done, with a super cute design, and a pedicure. She was very friendly, paid attention to detail, and very artistic. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you Ivy

Pricing on website was very misleading. I booked the online special for $47 for a mani pedi and then was charged $70 before tip. Ivy was delightful, which is why this is two stars instead of one. The person on the phone for pricing was rude.
