Columbia Barber Shop, New York NY

I’ve been going here for a year. Good service, nice people, close to Columbia. I have a crew cut which some places do slapdash. These guys take their time and do a good job. Check it out.

Boris is awesome! He did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. The shop is very open and friendly. Boris even helped me pick out the hair products that were right for me after I expressed interest in trying something new. I’ve been coming here for several years and will keep coming back!

I’ve been coming here for nearly a decade. They have plenty of barbers and rarely a wait. I love that I can just stop by, get a great haircut and be on my way. Boris cut my hair recently and was very meticulous. His years of experience is evident. He even finished the cut with a hot towel, which was great.

Boris did a great job once I showed him a picture of what I wanted. They were very accommodating taking me in without an appointment in the last hour before they closed. Offered good advice on styling and pomade too. Would recommend!

Went in for a haircut and got it upgraded to include a beard trim. Poor scissor skills meant that he was yanking out hair as he cut it - which hurts! The beard trim became a shave and I've never had a worse experience, left the place with cuts all over my neck and a rash at the back of my neck because the barber has clearly never heard of sensitive skin.

Nelly gave me the best haircut I ever got. She's awesome and attentive. Highly recommend
