I stopped in with a quick project without knowing if anyone could help me with it. Carlos at Columbus Hardware told me with confidence to come back in an hour and he had managed to take care of the whole thing for me! Amazing, kind, knowledgable staff, and can't recommend Carlos enough for your any advice you may need on a project:) 10/10

Columbus Hardware i discovered recently! They are helpful/knowledgeable/friendly & the work they do is superb!
I live 10 blocks away but i go to this store on 9th ave as it is so Pleasant!

These guys were the absolute best had an issue with something very sentimental to me I didn’t know how to fix it. These guys, give me all the tools guidance and helped me actually fix my remote.such kind in front of people, and there could not speak more highly of a hardware store or any place for that matter.

I'm surprised that the rating here is higher than I thought.
I visited them to copy the keys, but they didn't hand me the newly copied keys and the original keys, and threw them both in the direction I was.
On top of that, they gave me the wrong bill so I had to visit them again.
You guys shouldn't be treating your customers like this.

Long time patron of Columbus Hardware, since their original location. Seems that their customer service have seriously gone down the drain. Went in to have a couple keys cut and and it was as if I was paying for a lot of passive aggressive behavior, instead. With so many options in the city seems like it’s time to explore other places next time I need any home improvement supplies.

I just stumbled upon this hardware store and I’m so happy I did! I had an issue with some metal hardware. I brought the pieces in and these guys did magic by coming up with a solution that no other hardware store could offer. Thank you for your kindness and help.

Amazing service! They took the time to help me out (was a bit lost) and very reasonably priced

I’ve been living in NYC for 14 years and lived in at least 7 different neighborhoods, this is by far the most superior hardware store I’ve encountered. Everyone who works there is uniformly, consistently, friendly. Every project or question I’ve had they’ve been conscientious in listening to and super detail oriented and meticulous with fairly encyclopedic knowledge when answering. Sense of humor too, which is nice. Prices are very reasonable.
