Stayed in 2 different common homes and had a great experience both times. The process gives complete piece of mind in the moving experience and the staff are very reliable.

My recent visit to BroadRidge was absolutely fantastic. Shaquila was great! She provided a complete and informative tour and answered all my questions regarding living w Common. The building is beautiful and the common areas are super well designed. I would love to call this place home.

My tour went really well. My tour guide was Shaquila. She did a great job going through the apartment I was interested in and was very responsive to any questions I had.

Honestly living here is great, especially if you need to be in Manhattan. The location is good even for Manhattan as getting to the West Side or East side is incredibly easy thanks to being so close to the 2 and 3 train.

All of the people who work at Common are also incredibly nice and available. They also have events for suitemates to get to know each other and plenty of discounted deals for the local area.

I was locked out and called the common emergency service line and received a call back six hours later. Someone broke in downstairs and ripped the tv out of the wall and stole it. Common didn’t make a comment, send an email, or address any of the tenants about the robbery or our safety. They put a picture over the damaged wall the tv was torn out of. The guy who “maintains” the property always comes in really loud slamming the trash and trash bags. I asked if he could keep it down and he stated yelling at me. He painted the front door and hallway walls once and didn’t hang up a wet paint sign and one of the tenants got her uniform wet with white paint right before going to work. I came in and deep cleaned the place because they hire cleaners but the place is disgusting. I moved the couch and there were cobwebs everywhere. The walls are dirty. They just paint over dirt. Their furniture smells like an old dirty mansion. Common is one of the cheapest places I have ever stayed. I was on the phone with a representative who hung up in my face after we began to talk over each other. The door bell rang and it was the mail man, he said the password common gave him stopped working and to tell common that he needs the password to get in or else we will continue to miss mail. This corporation does not care about its tenants.just filling vacancies for a profit. DO NOT MOVE HERE

WARNING - DON'T MOVE IN TO LINCOLN! There has been an ongoing rat problem that management refuses to fix. They've leased to two new tenants and have not disclosed it. Also the refrigerator broke (like the door fell off completely) and it took a month and a half to replace it. Literally they offered each roommate $100 as compensation. Thanks big spender! That literally doesn't even cover one day's meal, much less the food that spoiled. Tenants beware!

It took 19 days to fix our hot water in the middle of winter. After having no effective constant communication with the property services team, I requested to speak to a manager since most representatives work remotely and aren’t fully aware of ongoing issues (which I do not at all fault them for, but it leads to a lot of confusion and lack of communication). I was only contacted by a manager once the issue was resolved despite asking over the phone to speak to a manager for over a week. Following this whole ordeal, I was then requested to leave a positive review of the assistance I received, which was inconsistent and usually unhelpful.

Common provides me with a comfortable space to live in with a great deal of flexibility. My favorite things about this place are the communal energy and how efficient everything is. A highlight for me has been the responsiveness and assistance provided by the Member Support team. Ann, for example, has been patient with my inquiries and ensured they are addressed. For a transplant starting out in NYC, this place is ideal.

An incredibly poor property manager. Common will lie to you and violate the terms of your lease in every way they can. Don't expect the company to meet any of the amenities they advertised. They'll even try to get you to sign an NDA and non-disparagement agreement to receive negligible reimbursements — which is unheard-of among reputable leasing companies.
