I am sorry to say I am disappointed. I had received a phone call about how I would pay for my consult because the person reported I did not have insurance. I had told them that I was there last week for a cleaning and they had scanned my insurance card. I was told by whoever was on the phone they had billed my old insurance. I came for my consult had waited for an hour and half. I had finally was taken to a room, where I was told by the lady who escorted me, if I was here for a consult for an implant. I was not.
Dr. Ramos had finally came in for about less than 5 minutes, without an apology for a wait. He had looked in my mouth and stated he doesn't do that type of treatment and explained other types of procedures had left the room. I have not been to CDC in about a year. I don't know if they are short staffed but they are very disorganized. I am a health care professiona for over 30 yrs and deeply disappointed in Concerned dental care.

Receptionist is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in the health care industry. No compassion for anyone that has issues. No solutions but hang up on you. Poor service if you ask me. It all starts with the Receptionist.

Visited this office for the first time today. Kristy, the dental hygienist was super informative and supportive through the whole experience. Definitely made it super comfortable and easy. The dentist was a great guy and explained his process to me very thoroughly. So far, I’m very happy with this place.

I I am trying to recommend a doctor for my uncle and here we go again every time I wanna make an appointment I constantly get a voicemail and never get a call back.
This is extremely unprofessional you trying to get through to somebody no matter what Ext you push You cannot get a hold of nobody and no one will give you the respect to call back so you can make an appointment. Good luck I'm making an appointment. I guess I have to go travel all the way over there to make an appointment.

Worst dental experience of my life! They cancel appointments left and right. Dr Herman does not believe in prescribing antibiotics. I got a tooth pulled, and it would not stop bleeding. When I called his emergency number in excruciating pain, all I got was some assistant who had a huge attitude and insisted I was doing something wrong. Ended up with dry socket and had to figure out an herbal remedy for it because I couldn't even be seen! To top it off, they just called me and canceled my 4 month follow-up. I would rather have all my teeth fall out than go back to that place. Not to mention, the staff (most of them) are very unprofessional and can be overheard talking negatively about patients. DO NOT GO HERE!

This is my 2nd time getting canceled on… my first appointment I scheduled it 6 months in advance.boom! Cancel. I rescheduled, I had to wait a month; but I’m currently here now, I walk in and they said someone canceled my appointment I wasn’t even notified! It’s just frustrating when you have a tooth that’s hurting and it’s not like I can go to the hospital and ask them to take it out… the girl that helped me find another place to go to and gave me a copy of my dental history was really nice I hope she gets a raise!

Dr Ortenberg just completed a root canal on me & it was the most efficient & painless treatment I’ve ever received. Highly recommend his work. His informative style of educating and calming his patients is impeccable. A special thank you to the office manager, Kylie, for her ability to get me an emergency appointment within hours!

Dr. Ortenberg and his assistant Jen went above and beyond, explaining everything, making me feel very comfortable and less nervous.

This dentist office should be SHUT DOWN and the doctors and staff should all be arrested after reading some of these 1 star reviews. I urge everyone to look through them.
Heres our experience.i Took my 17 year old to this office. He had a 2: 30pm appointment. He arrived at 2: 15. They didn't bring him into the office and do his x-rays until 330. That's the long story short. I texted my son that he needs to walk out and he met me in the car. I went online and read these awful reviews later that afternoon and I'm so glad he dodged having to see them. Never going back.
Apparently this doctor overbooks appointments intentionally and makes everyone wait.

I strongly advise avoiding Concerned Dental Care of Farmingville due to my extremely unpleasant experience with Dr. Herman. His lack of compassion was evident during my recent visit for a tooth extraction. I endured excruciating pain, and when I informed him that I could feel everything, he seemed more interested in continuing than ensuring my comfort. He administered additional novocaine without allowing it time to take effect and resumed the extraction, causing me to cry out in agony. Despite my pleas for him to stop, he persisted, and I had to physically get up from the chair to halt the procedure. His response was dismissive and hurtful, referring to me as a 'baby. ' The ordeal was so painful that my husband had to involve the police, resulting in an official report. I am 48 years old and have never encountered such distress during a dental procedure. I typically don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience to prevent others from enduring a similar ordeal. In retrospect, I discovered similar negative reviews that I wish I had seen before my visit. "

The truth leaves a lot to be desired
They canceled my appointment with my mother and my son.
The dentist sent the wrong forms
for insurance to approve a denture
And in the end they denied my mother's dentures because of the inefficient doctor
We tried to contact to make an appointment for my mother
And explain that the insurance was denying approval for the dentures and they always cancel or just never answer the phone.
Just don't go there or waste ur time

Hygienist cancelled appointment day before (twice), doctor canceled appointment 3 times 2hrs before appointment, takes at least 3hrs for regular cleaning and checkup visit.most of the visits no doctor for checkup, they expect to visit twice for general dental visit.office people are very rude and they hung up if you point out any issue.worst dental office. I wish I can rate 00, time to find another office,
admins has no clue what they are doing doesn't even know which form to use for referral and doesn't know how to send records to different doctor office, had enough time to change dentist

Kristy has such a beautiful personality. She makes you so comfortable. But most of all when you leave you know your teeth are perfectly clean. She does a wonderful job very thorough.
