Named after a section of Rabbi Jacob ben Asher's compilation of Halakha Arba'ah Turim. Orach Chayim means "way of life. " This beautiful synagogue was founded in 1879 and is led by Rabbi Benjamin Skydell, shlit"a. Photos can be seen in the book, "Ten Times Chai: 180 Orthodox Synagogues of New York City. "
