Conifer Village at Horseheads

My mother and sister lived at Conifer in Horseheads for about 2 years until mom's passing. I often visited and stayed with them for short intervals. I was also their liaison with Conifer management. This is a great place to live. Nicely appointed apartment. Buildings and landscaping are pleasant and well maintained, with near-by (not-covered) parking. Handicapped parking spots were close to the sidewalk so it was easier for mom to get to the car. There are even a number of places to eat within walking distance. Management and maintenance were great people to deal with, very responsive and considerate when my family needed their assistance. This was overall a very desirable place to live and, I think, a good value.

I would like to say Thank you to the two maintenance men (Scott and Anthony). They are the nicest, hard worker, and polite men. They have a smile on their face every time I greet them. And their knowledge is so greatly appreciated. My mom lives here and she’s very happy to have them when she calls Keep up the good work guys. If I could afford it I’d move here in a heartbeat. Thanks guys

Good for the price, but not “fancy”. Leasing office staff are kind and patient. Occasionally had to email more than once to get a response, but they are available in the leasing office during the day worst case. No major issues with neighbors other than the one time a younger couple had a screaming fight outside. The patrons of the Dominos next door can occasionally be rude but that’s not conifer’s fault.

What wonderful customer service! Heather couldn't have been more helpful and flexible, answering all of my questions-especially with the unusual circumstances caused by COVID and social distancing. While I did eventually go with a different apartment farther away, it was a very tough choice. During my extensive apartment search, this was by far the best apartment I could find near Elmira!

Lived here for a couple years and really liked it. Its affordable and in a safe area. Maintenance staff was always super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help with any issues. Good price for size and location. Know I made the best decision by choosing to live here!

After living in South Florida since 1978 (born in Elmira, NY) I wanted to move back to my birthplace about 3 years ago. I searched for rental properties in the Elmira/Horseheads area and found the perfect rental residence! Units are very well maintained, updated if and when needed.
Superior management and quick to service maintenance! Both very helpful and appreciated! The land property always looks spotless and very well maintained also!
If you are locating into this area, seriously come and see for yourself!
Conifer Village is truly "HOME" for me!
