Connecticut Muffin, Brooklyn NY

This Connecticut Muffin has been my favorite local coffee shop growing up and throughout my childhood; however, a few months ago, I was drinking an iced coffee I'd ordered from them on my walk home and almost swallowed a piece of glass that was at the bottom of my cup and came up through the straw! When I called them shortly after, I was pretty bummed to hardly get an apology and was told that "they don't use any items with glass in their shop so that would be unlikely for that to happen". I'm sorry to say I hardly stop by anymore after this incident.

I had a good experience the person at the counter was courteous and helpful with my order I picked up.

1 star for charging more than the menu price, giving me change, and pretending it was more than expected because of tax and not because they raised the prices. If you're going to charge $4.50 for a cup of coffee please update your menu.

This coffee shop is what you want in your neighborhood. Fresh pastries, nice coffee and wifi. Friendly atmosphere

Apparently, in Connecticut they like their muffins dry and flavorless. If that's your thing, this place has you covered.

Excellent choice of freshly baked goodies, with gluten-free alternatives (Magic bar, and corn muffins).
Make sure to try their House Blend coffee either iced or hot with your choice of milk! (Oat, Almond, Soy for non dairy!)

The ambiance is quite superb and the seating is exquisite given how how relatively close the park is. Highly recommend.

Always a nice treat to walk up to on a Sunday early morning, very very friendly staff who are helpful and kind. Also nice that you have seating outside in the front.

Great breakfast spot with egg and cheddar bagels. Get it toasted! Also a great spot to sit in and do work. Quiet environment and friendly staff.

I came here last week on Thursday morning to prepare for a job interview. After purchasing food and coffee and tipping the man working that morning was very mean when I asked for the Wi-Fi password and got angry with me when I had to ask again. The customer service here is very poor and I won’t be coming back. People go into coffee shops to use Wi-Fi and sometimes need assistance.

Great iced coffee. Attentive staff. Fast service. Good quality breakfast sandwiches and awesome raspberry walnut cookies.

Often run of out ingredients for sandwiches but otherwise quick, well-priced, and lots of seating.good ginger cookies

The coffee is cheap and it is a warm and comfortable place. The location is also perfect, but the don't have wifi!

Unfortunately, they didn’t even know how to make a Latte.they just gave me just regular coffee with milk instant ORIGINAL LATTE.which cost twise more!
