Converse Flagship Store reviews
18Loved this shop great products displayed. Store really clean, staff knowledgeable and helpful
Long time customer, however if I base my review on my past few visits to this flagship location, I'd strongly suggest that upper management re-train their employees.
Most of the "salespeople" (not all), have zero interest in helping customers (frankly, one's lucky to be acknowledged from what I've witnessed recently).
if you are lucky enough to get someone's attention, 4 out of 5x they can't be bothered, almost as if you've inconvenienced them somehow, or interrupted their conversation with a fellow employee. On more than one occasion I've seen specific employees act extremely unprofessional and flat out rude to customers (unprovoked).
** I feel the need to update/add to my review because (if you can believe it) this store has gone so far downhill, even more than it was before. The sole reason they stay afloat is because they are the only Converse store in the entire city (and they know this). Because of this, they basically do whatever they want, including opening + closing at random hours for no reason, making ppl wait until they feel like working, carrying minimal stock, etc. It's laughable how bad it's gotten. I'll stick to the website from now on, thx Converse.
If you like Converse, you've come to the right place!
Possibility of personalizing your shoes also.
Max price of $35 and you can do everything plus possibility of changing the laces and rings.
If you look carefully, there is a young advisor who speaks French
Lovely team.
Personalized shoes quickly (around 3 hours).
Your staff is amazing, from the greeter near the door that works on customization, to the floor staff. I didnt care for the selection which was pretty bland, not the stores fault but your buyers & merchants! ALSO, WHATS UP WITH THAT HORTIBLE HEAVY COLOGNE SCENT you have filtered through the vents. Your corp office/CEO etc should really look into eliminating that. Thats the worst thing in the world for Asthmatics. I felt like i couldnt breathe in your store.its so disgusting, the poor staff that has to work there all day long. I can onky imagine that you lose a lot of business because of that. The lovely young lady who was assisting me was probably looking around for me, because of that heavy scent, I had to run out of the store. Just 5 to 7 minutes which was triggering my asthma! I had intentions of purchading 2 sneakers & getting them both customized with patches, letters etc. I would love the corporate office to contact me.
Great customer service, big, clean store, wide selection, good prices, and variety of customization. We will be purchasing again.
We bought a pair of shoes that we had customized as proposed by the store team. The guys from the personalization service are very nice and super efficient, thanks to them for the service!
Even busy day with tons of customers, I still get a service, so I want to give stars for staff who works hard and care about customers. I could order online but the con of it is if it doesn't fit you have to exchange it and it will take time so I'm around, why not to step into the store to try. I got to try different color of boots and I found the color I love. The transition was easy and super casual.
Nice store, very friendly staff, but high prices. Place right next to the Ice Museum (entrance a bit expensive at $45).
You should update closing hours on webpage.
It's says at 8 but I went to the store and it's closed at 7 because of Covid.
I made a call and asked if they have a stock for a plain black classic, the assh*le who i spoke to was rude like he hated his job.
No one was able to be helpful. Asked a question got 3 different answers. No one helpfully. No one offfered to double check and confirm when I told tbem I was getting conflicting amswers. Left in frustration. Horrible experience. I eill not be wearing converse
Great customer service. I tried on several pairs of converse and the salesperson was extremely patient and helpful…always with a smile.
After leaving converse I went to the ice cream museum and left a bag there. When I called Converse the next day to see if I left it there the manager, Darren offered to go next door to see if the package was there because the museum had no customer phone service. Needless to say, that was over and above his job description but a very kind gesture and he should be commended for going the extra mile…thank you Darren!
Communication between floor staff and stock pickers was awful.
Me and another customer were waiting for more than 30 minutes to try on shoes that we were eventually told were out of stock despite being told they were in stock to begin with.
Avoid.
Aaahhh so good.the staff is so nice and helpful.they also had the converse with the hearts and i almost cried
Pleasant welcome in this store which offers many possibilities to equip you: competition shoes for men, women and children, possibilities of personalization.
The prices are correct considering the neighborhood
I was there to make my new Converse style shoes, I'm almost completing my own design, and the guy approached me and asked to leave because others were waiting, he said. Then I trun around look just one customer there, then insay I'm almost done can I complete my order? He says i can do it after the customer again.it's a very bad experience ever I had in my life. I'm decided never to buy any more converse shoes.
In my visits I have noticed that there is not much difference between an outlet and a regular store.in the case of convers the savings are about $10, so it is not worth looking everywhere for an outlet if you have a store on the corner
Killer platform "Motion" shoes that were sadly sold out. But much respect for keeping the classic brand edgy. Update 7/×/23 - still amazing. Converse has just released this KILLER SQUARE TOE BOX version of their Chuck Taylor claaics.
