Coppelia, New York NY

Coppelia was recommended to me by a family member for a late night bite and I’m so glad that I went. The music and vibe was impeccable! My server Mateo was super patient and helpful. He was attentive the whole time, despite being super busy! The drinks were amazing. We tried the Coppelia Smash and the Gran Paloma. The Coppelia smash was bitter with a nice kick. The Gran Paloma was sweet with a hint of spicy from the Tajin rim. They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. I went with the steak frites, which was seasoned very well. I didn’t even need the sauce that went with it. The Gambas Al Ajillo was really good as well! The shrimps were huge and full of flavor. My favorite of it all was definitely the corn on the cob though! I will definitely be returning next time I’m in NYC!

The food is very mid. Worst quesadillas I had of all time for 20 dollars. Also, the music is super loud unless you want ears blown.

The quesadilla was fresh and the kale salad was delicious with grilled shrimp. The Nutella flourless mousse cake was a perfect ending!

Great late night spot, especially to bring a date. Latin dishes are on point-the Ropa Vieja is outstanding even at 4am. No place in the city offers that. The American food is solid-burgers are. Definitely worth a trip at any time of day. Similar to Cafeteria, Sanford's (Astoria) and the old Coffee Shopp when it was open.

This is one of the places I would go over and over without thinking twice. Need to go back!

This was our second visit to this place and it has not disappointed yet! This place was a suggestion from a friend and seriously they did us a solid! We had multiple dishes but the enchiladas truly are so good! Portions are great and the price is great too! Enchiladas have a beautiful tomatillo sauce and every bite was bursting with flavor. We also got a steak which our teenager ate and loved every single bite! Always a cozy environment and over all ambiance is great.

This place is so dope. Wow the food is good. The drinks are bomb and it’s open 24 hours. Came here for the first time in a date she brought her friend and I still had a dope time. This place is a game changer. Especially when it’s 6am and the there’s no afties. Hit this spot. You. An est get hammered and never happpy. Take it from me. This spot is a winners place. Bring her here and you’re for sure gonna get some. #PAPITONETWORKS!

There might be a bit of a wait to get in, but it's worth it! I'd recommend trying the steak and empanadas.

Coppelia has always been one of my favorites in NYC. When I lived in the city a few years ago, I used to go so often in the late evenings that the staff knew me by first name! They’re open 24/7, so if you’re on a night out, and can’t find something that open, they’re always available! It’s a great place to try dishes from all over Latin America and the Caribbean. It has gotten more expensive than when I lived in the City a few years ago, actually a lot more expensive. The staff is still very friendly, and the food and drink quality has not changed. So aside from that it still holds a special place in my heart, and if you can treat yourself, this is a sure bet for a place to eat and have a great time!

The burger tastes like burnt. I think they don’t clean the grill every time they put a burger on it.

Late night eats. This is the place to stop at…. Cuban sandwich for sure. Ox tail can’t go wrong.

Had a fabulous breakfast of huevos rancheros and chilaquiles here. All was yum and clean and friendly. Would return

Me and my coworker came across this dine in spot just to be kicked out because we wasn’t “sober enough “. We are industry and they did not let us in because of the bouncers outside.

Walked in on Tue evening 7pm and was sat right away in the back. Two of us shared Caesar salad, oxtail empanada and mains the Churrasco - which was cooked to perfection. The rice and beans had a bit of a crunch and seasoning overall was well balanced. Didn’t have cocktails or dessert but plan to go again if even just for that!

You can’t go wrong. Weather it’s a special occasion or a regular dinner you won’t be disappointed. This place is iconic. Humberto is an amazing bartender definitely ask for him. He never disappoints.

I ate there today. Excellent food, breakfast all day, adorable staff! We ordered some guacamole as a starter. My friend, who goes to this restaurant often, had the pancakes and I had the cuban Benedict. I will be back to work my way through the menu.

The atmosphere is the food Waiter wasn’t that nice but we didn’t let kill our vibe. Music was good as well.
