Cornell Pace Inc, New Rochelle NY

I have contacted both the on site property manager Ms Garrett the director of operations Cecile Vasquez to address the several issues after an initial response a month ago no further response or action after further requests to address the issue i have been trying to contact someone to complain but they answer to no one. The attitude they have seems to be so what. Nobody cares

They're irresponsible to can never get to speak to anyone. They take up to 3 weeks to deposit your rent money. And then they're taking you to court because they haven't put on your ledger.

A whole lot of issues on the inside, no water, no hot water, little or no hea, broken elevators, missing packages, garage door can’t open, garage door can’t close, homeless people sleeping in the lobby, don’t answer call no security, gym flooded, plugs don’t work and the list goes on to much to mention in this one post. Don’t waste your money moving here it’s not worth it

They basically just hire anyone. Very unprofessional and they really could care less about anyone living on the property.always reach out to you when they want your money, never can reach them for anything else lol

I have seen discrimination in their office in the past, this place needs to be under investigation!

I question the integrity and qualification of the personnel. This is the worst, I have seen in terms of property management. The employees can't spell, write professionally or conduct themselves in a professional manner. The office has lost rental checks.

This company is extremely unprofessional and ghetto.the lady in operations Mary Molina is very disgraceful. Mary barely answers emails or calls and is very vindictive. This woman has no type of communication or people skills. She is loud, wrong, and strong over the phone and one thing I've noticed is she likes to lie a lot. She is rude and disrespectful. Ive been told things just for her and some others to back track and say they've never said something or "Dont recall". Idk where they find these people from, but its making their business look weak and and unstable. Cornell Pace get it together

They are the absolute worst, rarely respond make up money that you don't owe. Never give a receipts when paying a bill. Have called about 75 times left as many messages. They lie all the time extremely unprofessional. They try to talk to adults like your there.child.

Wow this whole "Bad Review"Thing going on with this Management Company is Starteling! I was Really Thinking of Moving in to one of there Developments even Referring some of my Client's there way! But So many Negative Reviews From there own Tenants is Shocking.

The apartment is beautiful, but I wish I didn’t have to go through this company for anything. No one ever answers the phone, no one ever returns any calls after leaving a message it’s annoying and extremely unprofessional.

Nasty set of people I ever encounter rude disrespectful and if you don't watch out the worker who come to your home are thieves stole money and personal info

Building was supposed to be for working people and moved in now full of non working mental health programs and non working section 8 hanging out hanging in stairwells kids play in hallways, Roaches, loud music. No security pay 100 for parking non parking tenants block the driveway when you call management they do not respond. BEWARE! Not as advertised been here 10 months in Mount Vernon and looking to move. Don’t feel safe. The super is nice though he looks overwhelmed by the people tearing down the building.

This is a beautiful property that I was blessed to get 5 years ago but the management is extremely bad. There is no professionalism and a major lack of communication. I've sent several emails cc plenty of people on my emails to track my paper trailing everything and I get no reply. I am a single mother raising my 2 kids and I was domestic violence victim due to my spouse at the time abusing me I finally got him out but they still have my abuser on my legal documents. They did not work with me. I have yet to get my questions and concerns resolved for over 2 years now.they falsely charged me for a new dishwasher that was never installed and I have provide proof that it is indeed the same appliance I got at move in by providing serial number and it was confirmed by super he never installed anything and I still didn't get credited. It is frustrating to know this is being allowed! I am a property manager to a wonderful management company and the difference is that we actual love and are passionate about our job and I follow up with residents all the time with in the next 24 hrs the most. We actually care for our tenants and we actual go above and beyond to address any questions and concerns making sure we are fair to the company and to our residents. We all deserve to live at a beautiful safe place and deserve to be heard and responded too. The only good person they have here that actually does his job with respect to others is our Super / my neighbor Ricky at ocean hill 5 stars for him but 0 stars for management.

This organization has a fair number of situations where children are opening the doors & leaving their homes due to the easy open slam lock. I added a second lock to avoid this, I was asked to have it removed with no reason provided besides an expired lease from 2016 which noted “no second lock, unless permission requested. ” Mind you, we are in 2021. I asked Mary for permission to keep my lock in for the safety of my children, then received a notice I have 10 days to remove it. When asked why I couldn’t have one given the circumstances that Have occurred to myself and other tenants, I was told she was not required to give any explanation. Simply leaving this review because it will continue to occur to the tenants and when it does and god forbid the next family may not be as lucky. I want the management and staff to be held fully liable as they are fully aware of the issue and could care less.

The WORST!

This company is the worse landlord i have had since living in 175 west 95th st, i moved in back in 2002. Never had issues like i do since cornell pace took over!
I went out on disability backing march during pandemic. My disability paperwork and payments were delayed like all other mail I borrowed money from family to pay my rent till payments came! They only came 2 weeks ago! But, this management wants to send me letters of late payments etc. I spoke with someone back in March when pandemic started! The same day I came home from hospital after my surgery! This man told me take your time dont worry! But, since may they been sending me letters to tell me they are kicking me out! I know others are squatting in building here i am still paying my payments since my first paycheck back to work i was out 20 weeks march - July!
I try calling with no response From management, correction I get certified letters this is cause they want to remove me and get new people what new people everyone is fleeing the city due to covid and other issues like being rented out with ridiculous hikes in rent!

This management company is the worst. I gave it 2 stars because the super is friendly and for the most part attentive to the buildings needs. My two complaints are with the management company and the fact that they allow tenants who fight, multilpe reasons to have the cops called, they destroy the building, litter in the hallways. You name it they do it. I just want the management company to better screen their applicants.

I have been a tenant at the same building for over 18 years. The guy that supervises my building is nice because he knows and respects me. But, the Management company itself does not take care of its tenants and the staff is rude and think that they can talk to you in a rude manner. They also talk like they own the building "my" super and "my" building. It's sad that our building is falling apart from no upkeep and the management company is a dead beat! I need a new stove the oven won't close all the way this is a fire hazard we are getting burned.

THE ONLY THING IMPORTANT TO CORNELL PACE IS LOW INCOME RECERTIFICATION AND RENT EVERYTHING ELSE THEY DONT 'CARE'.

This place is horrible! You go there glass everything! You come to these buildings.horrible, water bugs everywhere, no hot water, no Gas for a year, Nooo nothing, heat still on in 70 degrees weather. I truly dislike this management. They need to be SHUT DOWN. Clearly they don't care about they tenants. Never pick up they phone, all they maintaince workers are old or on drugs! Can the state help!?
