The only hardware store nearby. I've been using them since they were on Avenue L. Not a contractor but I do almost all of my home repair. Always find what I need from painting, plumbing, electrical, etc. Good store.

Your typical hardware store. Has most things for a small project and some. Service is good, prices are ok.

Sly like a fox hardware store. Sales associate on the phone said they don't give prices over the phone. I had to come in to find out the price. No wonder they don't! A space heater cost me double the fair market amount. The sales associate in the store didn't understand my simple question of which one is the cheapest? Then, I asked the cashier a question and he was rude and not knowledgeable. Stay away from Corner Hardware.

Today, a week later, I returned my purchases. One of the sales associates, under the guise of helping me pull put of the tight parking lot, was degrading to me verbally. He was patronizing by saying "that's why they give cars the ability to go forward and in reverse. " Nasty all around.

I am working for a General contractor … so going to hardware stores is a daily event… sadly to say poor costumer service in all aspects

Drivers are extremely inconsiderate and have no regard for basic human decency. Refused to move their vehicle evem though they were causing a major traffic jam and emergency vehicles behind them, all to deliver their product. Had the audacity to them use inappropriate language once they finally felt like moving their vehicle.

Friendly woman in the paint department. Feels like a neighborhood hardware store. I'll be back

Located on Nostrand Avenue between Avenues H & I, this store is ideal for hardware, cleaning, and home supplies. Their prices are reasonable and their staff are helpful. Accessible via B44 local and select buses, B41 & B103 buses along with the 2 & 5 trains [at Nostrand and Flatbush Avenues]. Not far from Target, Aldi's, and Key Food.

This is a substantial hardware store for its size. Good selection of brands, tools, supplies & prices. Helpful, friendly staff.

Picked upnour snow blower. Great place more then hareware must stop there and really look around plus parking!

Friendly yet informative staff that help the carpentry illiterate like myself find what I need and also explain the steps necessary to accomplish your project.

I came to match a paint color to a piece of wood, I walked in and right away i was approached by a wonderful helpful sales woman at the paint section…. She took out paint colors to match my wood and the first one she chose was the perfect match, she was literally like an artist!
Then I went around the store to shop some more things, everything is so nicely displayed, organized and clean with wonderful sales people around.
It’s not a typical hardware store it’s ACE CORNER HARDWARE!

Very friendly there, we even become good friends there now.prizes there is not expensive at all and they willing to work with what u can afford.

I bought a webber grill from them. Aaron was the sales representative. He took the time to listen to what I needed, and suggested that I purchased a cheaper grill then the one I wanted. They assembled it and delivered it to me on time as promised.

My review will describe the horrible customer service of my local ACE hardware store, 2266 Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn, and it's corporate office. The staff at 2266 Nostrand Ave showed negligence when I asked about the return policy and they never acknowledged it. This consumer complaint has not been resolved and I was met with rudeness by the local store management, incompetence, and bureaucratic delay tactics. ACE's corporate customer service department was no help either.

I was misled about ACE's return policy and was told I could return my items with a receipt before 30 days. I was NEVER told by the store the items must be unopened. I requested a refund and even offered to accept store credit when I returned the "like new" items. My complaint was met with horrible customer service and a dismissive attitude.

My attempts to resolve this at the corporate level were unsuccessful also. I made four phone calls and ACE's customer service department reached out to the store twice. But, ACE's negligence was never acknowledged and I was even misdirected in an attempt to dismiss my efforts. This included telling me to apply to their Rewards Profile program. The 2266 Nostrand Ave store wanted me to go to another ACE hardware store and ask for a refund. These were classic misdirect tactics that are unacceptable. They show a attitude that does not value the customer experience nor value return customers. There was never an attempt to admit poor customer service and resolve the dispute. I feel I made every attempt to resolve this issue with the 2266 Nostrand Ave store and corporate headquarters.

Customers who wish to shop at ACE need to know how poor their customer service, from the local to the corporate level, really is. I hope this review helps customers when they decide if they will spend their hard earned money at the 2266 Nostrand Ave ACE store. I feel customers are better off taking advantage of better return policies at Loews or Home Depot.

They actually have employees that are friendly and assist you with your needs. I had a great experience here and even got in a few laughs. Love this place my new family
